A Special Testifier With A Monkey pox Microphone
For many years now, I've had a high record of church service involvement. Aside from passing through many churches, I'm a registered member of the largest church with a mega gallery of millions of people attending service per gathering.
Initially, as a new number added to the fold, I was always punctual and mostly seen seated in the first row of the front seats. But then, I didn't engage with people that easily, neither in conversation or whatever you would like to call church gist.
Maybe I was an introvert kind of person or I wasn't just feeling relaxed yet. Nonetheless, my attention was very far away from the preacher, I could hardly remember anything said or talked about during the sermons.
Almost all their song ministrations were heavenly and awesome, they were all nice and wonderful members around.
I vividly remember once a brother by the name of Jackson Hewitt excused and got me involved in a few minutes of conversation; as part of the conversation, he suggested that I should consider being a part of a department, unity, and group in the church, as that would enhance my level of commitment and associates.
Seems this man was watching me from a distance oh... I said that to myself. Next step, a meeting was arranged between the pastor in charge and me, along with Brother Jackson Hewitt, the church secretary.
After the brief meeting with the church leaders, I decided to be a part of the media team. On one of the Sundays, I went to church just after I had now made up my mind to be attentive and active in service for God, a certain man came out of the congregation for a testimony.
Brothers and sisters, I was asked to give a microphone to him, which I did, and this man testified about how he was infected with monkey 🐒 pox, and God healed him.
When he had finished testifying, and was about to leave the stage he forgot to return the microphone to the pastor, so I signaled him about the microphone, and as he turned back to give it to the second testifier beside him, the man had disappeared to the congregation, initially, I thought oh rapture has taken place.
But no, the second testifyer actually ran away from receiving the microphone from the monkey 🐒 pox infected testifyer, said he has received an instant healing while listening you him, so as such, he doesn't think he has another testimony left again. The microphone should be returned to the pastor in charge, he suggested.
Pastor said he's the one in charge of money, not testimonies, and you can give back the microphone to the assistant pastor. But the assistant pastor replied without hesitation, Brother in Christ, that particular microphone is yours to keep; it's our New Year gift from all of us in this church to you, now you may take it home and thank God later.
