Is God A Sovereign God?

in #hive-12512514 days ago

Good morning, lovely family; how is everyone doing? You're all welcome to my blog.

Today is a beautiful day, and it happens to be the second day in November. It's been the Lord all the way.

It's remaining one month for us to say goodbye to 2024. I'm sure that this new month will be a very good month for us, and every other person.

My today's article will be on Is God a sovereign God?

It's a very big question, but its answer is very small but unique.

What does sovereign mean?
According to Webster's dictionary, sovereign means "above or superior to all others; supreme in power, rank or authority".

Yes, our God is indeed sovereign. But when people refer to God as a sovereign God, what they mean is that they never know what God will do.

The reason is that they truly believe that he's powerful and independent, so he has every right to do whatever pleases him.

But come to think of it, each time we think about that, it becomes a problem for us. You may wonder how thinking about God's sovereignty could be a problem. I will tell you why I say so.

It becomes a very big problem for a man because it could make him or her feel relief from his or her responsibilities. After all, they believe God is the only one to do everything for them.

That alone might make them fold their hands and watch their problems instead of exercising their authority over certain problems they're facing in life.

But I tell you that it's a wrong assumption. Do you know that God does only a few things on this earth without man's cooperation? Yes, it is true.

The Bible tells us in the book of Psalms 8 vs. 6; I'm quoting from King James' version:Thou hast given him dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.

You can now see that God loves and respects man so much that he made man to be in charge of everything he created. That should tell you that God doesn't intervene in man's affairs without man's permission.

He has given man the power to do anything he wants to do at any given time. This power will only be limited to man when man ceases to exist on this planet.

But some intercessors seem to be praying in secret; that's why it seems God is acting on his own.

Note: Each time you see God act mightily, know that someone, somewhere is interceeding on people's
behalf, before his power could be felt by all men.

We're in the last days, and many signs and wonders are happening. Children of God are folding their hands, watching while this event unfolds because they think God will revoke it with his sovereign power; no, God will not.

The Lord said in the holy scriptures that on the last days, he would pour his spirit on all flesh. Our sons and daughters would prophesy, young men would see vision, and old men would dream dream. Yes, it is true.

But if closely examine, you will see that there's a divine connection between God and man, only if we prophecy with intercession and faith.

In conclusion, all Christians must always remain in their place of prayer. They must always be alert every time and every day.

Let's relieve God from certain things that we know we can handle. We are powerful because he vested the power in us. So, we must act wisely and stop blaming God for certain things.
