The Storyline
The movie follows Detective Bob Hightower, a man whose life takes a tragic turn when his teenage daughter is kidnapped by ruthless satanic cult. As if that wasn’t enough, they also murder his ex-wife, leaving him completely shattered.
Bob is a dedicated cop, but after this, he realizes that following the rules won’t bring his daughter back. He quits his job, drowns himself in alcohol, and struggles with the weight of his loss. But then he meets Case Hardin, a woman who managed to escape from the same cult. She knows exactly how they operate, and she’s ready to help him track them down.
The Darkness and Suspense
This movie is not your typical action-packed revenge flick it’s deeper and much more unsettling. The cult isn’t just a gang of criminals; they’re twisted, manipulative, and they don’t just kill their victims they brainwash them. The idea that they don’t just take lives but also steal people’s minds makes it all the more disturbing.
The Action, The Drama, The Thrill
This movie doesn’t hold back. The action scenes are raw and brutal gunfights, fistfights, high-speed chases everything feels intense and real. There are no over-the-top stunts, just gritty, violent confrontations that remind you how high the stakes are.
What Didn’t Work for Me
As much as I was into the story, the pacing was a bit slow at times. Some scenes felt stretched out longer than necessary, which took away from the urgency of Bob’s mission. Also, the violence is pretty extreme, so if you’re not into dark, gritty movies, this might not be for you.
Final Verdict
I’d rate God is a Bullet 6.5/10. It’s a solid thriller with intense action, strong performances, and a haunting atmosphere. But the slow pacing and heavy violence make it a tough watch in some moments. If you’re into psychological revenge stories with high-stakes action, you’ll probably enjoy it. But if you prefer lighter action films, this one might not be your thing.
Would I watch it again? Maybe. Would I recommend it to kids or anyone sensitive to graphic violence? Definitely not. But if you’re looking for a dark, gripping thriller that stays with you long after the credits roll, this one’s worth a shot.
