Yesterday, I decided to step out of my usual routine of paper crafts and do something different by working with a plastic bottle. My goal was to create something practical, so I crafted a toothbrush holder.
In my household, there are four of us (my mum and my siblings) and we normally keep our toothbrushes inside a toothpaste case.
After giving it some thought, I realized that it would be much better if our brushes were organized in a more functional and tidy way. That idea inspired me to create this craft piece, that gives our toothbrushes a proper and more organized place.
It wasn't a very easy thing to do for me basically because it's not something I was really familiar with , but then I guess I tried my best.
Equipments required
. Plastic bottles
. Scissors/Table Knife or Razor Blade
. Super glue/ bond ( not the normal ones for gluing paper)
. Black marker.
Steps taken
Get a plastic bottle. Now cut it at the top very close to the middle . Cut it at the bottom as well.
After doing that, this is what you will get.
Now, before you continue , check if the cut out upper bottle can fit in into the bottom. If not try cutting out the bottom of another bottle and use that if it fits in, which was what i did. I tried covering the bottom cut out bottle with the top one but it didnt fit so i made use of another from a different bottle entirely.

It is now fitted.
Immediately that has been confirmed , remove the upper part and apply your super glue at the dotted part which is the edges. Do that round the bottle and make sure you put a very good amount.
Now, Place it on the bottom cut out part and let them be firmly bonded together.
The next step is to get three different plastic bottles . Cut them at the demarcated part with marker.
After doing that, you will get the first image. Now, use your scissors to trim the bottom of the three to get the desired bottle tops.
Afterwards, place the bottle tops on the bottle and use your marker to demarcate it. Cut the demarcated part out with scissors or Razor blade.
The next thing you will do is to take the small bottle top and put your glue on it.
Now, bond the bottle top firmly inside the holes on the bottle. Just like this.
Follow the same process for the other two cut out bottle tops.
This is it how it would look like and finally you can add your toothbrushes inside the holes and leave them there.
