Whenever I hear the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, I feel whoever said that was referring to me. Although right now it seems like the biggest lie we have ever told ourselves about my country Nigeria, I choose to believe it. If I should be sincere with myself I've always loved the game of politics, it has always intrigued me. In all the ways to put yourself in the history books, one way that would solidify your name for life is the way of politics because it deals with nation building. I've always been ambitious, and I'm not sorry for it, I try to do what is right not because I feel like or even because I have compassion for good, but because I choose who I want to be.

Where I am going with all these is that the game of politics isn't the game of emotions, and thank goodness I'm not someone given to emotions. Although I can be indecisive, which I think is my major weakness if I should go into politics. Once I am not sure of my next action, it's almost impossible to pressure me into making a decision even if the nation should be physically set on fire. I'm usually more scared when I think about things than when they are right in front of me. For example if you remember the story I told of how I was laughing with a gun to my head. That's just me, I'm not a psycho, but threats do not make me afraid. So yeah if I should be in a political position tomorrow, I would probably have figured out how I want to govern and all, but when unforeseen circumstances hit, I pause until I know my next line of action.
Also I'm not a rigid person, I always have a plan inside a plan that's inside a plan😂. If you know you know. I don't mean this the wrong way, and this doesn't mean I would be one to help the poor and showcase it. One thing I'm sure of is that when I begin to play the game of politics, I will play it in a way nobody else could have imagined. When you think you've figured me out is where you will be making a mistake. Truth be told too, if you are going to play the game of politics, you must understand that all is fair in war thus ensuring your win so you can carry out your goals. If you are thinking that there are chances I will break the rules, well you're right. I will break them, but never at the detriment of the innocent. I will be like Batman, with a code and certain lines I will and can not cross.

I would like to say I would serve my country with my life, but that would be mere propaganda because the only reason I would serve my country is to have my name among those who made the country great. I like to be the Abraham Lincoln of Nigeria. Apart from the part where he died early, there are things he did that even though a lot of people were not happy with making America great in the long run. He made Americans love America and that is something I would love to do. I know a lot of politicians had this in mind before they started, some even made an effort to do some of these things when they entered power, but something happened along the way.
Money and power has a way of corrupting even the best of us. This is why I do not plan to make money from politics, and I plan to build my power from the things I will do when I eventually become a politician. This would mean my sole aim is to achieve one goal, but knowing there is a goal behind the goal would leave you wondering what on earth would keep my focus. I just pray I do not go A-wire after it all. I have a dream to one day be among those who made my Nation great, for now it's a dream, but soon it will be a reality.
