This season has not gone as planned for me, truth is I even gave up at some point and decided maybe it was high time I took a break. I have had more losses than I have ever had since I started playing the game and because I take everything that happens to me to heart, it was only natural that I took my losses to heart. Truth be told, I was so pained at the very first day of the season especially after renting the chaos card set and the riftwatcher expansion card sets with the little dec I had left. I was busy regretting why I didn’t just rent the cards I normally use but opted to try new cards hoping they would give me a better advantage.
So I realized the problem was with my summoner cards, they weren’t in max level which made winning against max level cards difficult. That day I only had two wins in like 13 games which got me very frustrated as it was way below my win rate. But because I was no longer having funds to rent new cards, I decided to let it all go until I had the funds and rented max level summoner cards. Well it turned out I was able to get the funds today, and I rented those cards after which I played 10 battles and came out with 6 wins.
While I was in the market purchasing different summoner cards, I came across this dual summoner card that combined both water and life elements. Although it has a really high manner cost I thought it would be good I purchased it since I was only purchasing summoner cards. After purchasing it, I realized I was right, the card did come in handy and gave me more advantages of card selection. Although I’m still trying to get accustomed with the style of play perfect for such cards, I think it is already doing me really well.
I have only managed to secure a win once out of the three times I used this summoner, but it isn’t stopping me from trying again. I think I would still need to play more. Hopefully I finish in the diamond league again this season seeing how much time I have spent on the sidelines. I kinda liked the last game I played today, I won majorly because my summoner gave me an option to add another ability to one of my monsters. Adding that ability made the difference for me this time and I was so excited to have gotten the card. I hope I get more wins with it, but then again I guess I can say I still have a lot to learn, and I don't know how much longer I would have to play before I can say I have mastered the game of splinterlands.
