Earning a living

in #hive-19768522 days ago

Greetings!

Ever since I finished school—well, the stage I decided to stop for now—I’ve been living alone and fending for myself. I've done many jobs, including menial ones, to sustain myself. Being a guy, it's a cultural expectation in my part of the world that once a guy graduates from school, he shouldn’t rely on his parents for support, especially if the parents are not financially buoyant. In fact, it’s often the reverse; a guy is expected to start supporting the family financially once he becomes stable.

Currently, the job—or perhaps I shouldn’t call it a job, per se—that I’m using to fend for myself is a self-employed one, a business. It's a laundry business. I’ve mentioned it countless times in my articles. Yes, anyone who knows me even a little should know that I’m in the laundry business. It’s what I’ve been using to earn my daily feeding money, which is the most important thing because the economy is tough right now. As long as you’re not begging for food or relying on your parents to feed, you deserve some applause. Am I hyping myself too much even though what I’m saying might not seem like much? Please let me be. Lol.

The business is very small, but it’s been very sustaining. Yes, it’s small, and it demands a lot of my time, leaving me with little free time to go out and enjoy myself like a "normal" guy—by which I mean going out to spend money and time with friends.

How much do I earn?

Like I said, it’s not a big business, but it has been very sustaining with the profits it generates. By sustaining, I don’t mean earning huge amounts of money to buy an airport—no. It’s been sustaining to the extent that it covers my feeding and some other basic needs.

Another source of income:

The Hive blockchain is another one of my income sources. This blockchain has been extremely helpful, and I can’t leave it out when mentioning my income sources. I can't count how many times it has saved me from the embarrassment of borrowing money from people. Yes, I prefer to withdraw my modest earnings here to sort out financial needs rather than going around borrowing or asking people for help.

Thanks for reading.

It feels good when you're counting your money and not money for someone. Keep up the good work.

Asweeeaar!
It feels so good.
Thank you ma

You're welcome

I like to have laundry business too.😊

Well, you're right, as long as you're not begging for money, those business or simple jobs are more worthy.😊
