Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today my wife and I didn't go anywhere. We have to take care of our son (autistic) at home. This weekend my son's school for special needs children is closed for 3 days. So the boy didn't go to school today. So my wife cooks for us at home. And in this post, I have the food that she cooked to share with everyone. This dish is a local soup of northern Thailand. It has a sour taste. This dish is a northern style sour soup. This simple sour soup is cooked with vegetables and meat. But it is popular to cook it with chinese flowering cabbage and pork. But today my wife brought ceylon spinach as ingredients for this dish. Because she just harvested ceylon spinach from the longan plantation 2 days ago, And just had some free time to cook them.

Ingredients : Sour soup with ceylon spinach and pork.
- ceylon spinach
- pork
- fermented pork sausage
- tamarind sauce
- shrimp paste
- pork flavour seasoning powder
- water
First put the pot on the stove and boil water in a pot. Then add shrimp paste and pork flavour seasoning powder in the pot. Boil until the water boils.
When the water boils, add the pork in the pot and boil until the pork is cooked.
Then add ceylon spinach in a pot and boil.
Cut the fermented pork sausage. When the ceylon spinach are cooked, add the fermented pork sausage to the pot.
Then add the tamarind sauce in the pot. Boil until all ingredients in the pot are cooked. Turn off the stove.
Done, Sour soup with ceylon spinach and pork.
