Minimum Rental Price is Now 1 DEC + My Seasonal Rental Activity (In & Out)
On Splinterlands, SPS tokens are the tokens that can be earned from game activity, but they are also the governance tokens that permit voting on SPS Proposal to decide changes to game dynamics and other game-related aspects.
In June 2024, the proposal submitted by @captaindingus on increasing the minimum card rental price from 0.1 DEC to 1 DEC passed.
On February 4, this change was implemented.
I like this change for the simple fact that anyone who rents a card must pay a fee of 1 DEC.
I also really like the Draft Proposal currently being voted on that proposes to eliminate daily rentals by allowing only seasonal rentals.
I like this proposal because when I rent a card I generally want to use it for the whole season and it is particularly annoying and tedious when the person who rented the card takes it off the market before the time I need it.
This is exactly what happened in the current season with the maximum level VRUZ card that I rented for 7 days but then the owner decided to terminate the rental before the end of the seven days.
Seasonal rental as the only option is an advantage especially for the player and for this simple reason I like this proposal which I voted in favor of.
Because the topic of this post of mine is card rental I also share my seasonal rental activity which is in two directions because:
- I rent out my Beta and Untamed cards because the Wild (Bot) Format is boring to me because I like to play only against human players like me
- I rent some cards that can be used in Modern Format because this season I started a test and doubled my playing activity in Modern Format by using two accounts (@libertycrypto27 and @libertygame27) instead of using only my main account.
In seasons 148, 149, 150 and 151 I tested playing also in the Wild Format.
In the Wild Format I used a bot that played with my Beta and Untamed cards.
(Non)Playing in the Wild Format using XBOT was unfun and also unprofitable because I ended the four seasons at a loss even though I used a collection of cards I owned worth more than $600 and also spent an average of 400 DEC per season to rent cards useful in battle.

Some people are saying that playing in the Wild Format using a Bot is fun.
I respect all opinions different from mine but I don't see how you can use the terms play and fun when using a BOT and unless you have a collection of $1000 and at least 100K SPS you are unlikely to make a profit in the Wild Format because of the cost of the Wild Pass...
Cards that will come out of the Modern Format will always lose value as long as the Wild Format will have the current structure (bots allowed + Wild Pass).
The only hope for the old cards to re-gain relevance in the game is Survival Mode, the next game mode that will be introduced on Splinterlands which, however, will, unfortunately, be a bots friendly game mode like Wild Format.
With my main account I have my own competitive card collection to play in the Diamond leagues of the Modern Format and I do not need to rent more cards because I enjoy playing manually with my card collection.
I don't use my Beta and Untamed cards and yesterday I put 53 rental cards at the lowest price on the market.
Out of a potential gain of 160 DEC per day I rented only 10 cards out of 53 from which I get a daily gain of 11.89 DEC per day.
One of the cards I used the most when I played manually in Wild Format is Byzantine Kitty in Level 3.
I still consider Byzantine Kitty to be one of the most versatile summoner cards that can be used in the Wild Format but it is difficult to rent out unless you give it for a few DEC.
In order not to see my level 3 Byzantine Kitty unused today, I used the Rent->BID section of Peakmonsters to see what was the best rental bid for level 3 Byzantine Kitty.
In fact, Peakmonster's Configure rental bid feature is useful not only for making a rental bid but also for finding out what rental bids are on the market.
I had asked for 68 DEC per day but there is a rental bid for 32 DEC per day.
I preferred to earn 32 DEC per day instead of 0 and lowered the rental price of my Byzantine Kitty to 32 DEC.
The price change cost me 1 DEC but now I will receive 32 DEC per day which is undoubtedly better than 0.
Having activated this rental will allow me to reduce the rental cost I am incurring to use 21 cards with my second account in Modern Format.
In fact for libertygame27 I have an active rental of 21 cards for which I am spending 64.04 DEC per day.
Although I spend 64 DEC per day this cost is largely covered by the earnings I receive from battle wins.
In fact with libertygame27 I started the season in Bronze III league and now play in Diamond III league in which I get a gain per battle won of about 3.5 - 3.7 SPS.
With only two battles won I easily exceed the daily rental cost because the gain from my last battle win was 3.94 SPS whose value equals 36.84 DEC which is 57.53% of the daily cost I spend to rent cards.
My 4-season test in the Wild Format using XBOT was an unfun test that produced a loss.
My current test in the Modern Format is a fun test for me because I play more battles manually and it is also a positive test financially because I am also making a profit.

Splinterlands: Prezzo minimo per il noleggio è adesso 1 DEC + La mia attività di noleggio
Su Splinterlands i token SPS sono i token guadagnabili dall'attività di gioco ma sono anche i governance token che permettono di votare le SPS Proposal per decidere cambiamenti alle dinamiche di gioco e ad altri aspetti collegati al gioco.
Nel mese di giugno 2024 è passata la proposta presentata da @captaindingus sull'aumentare il prezzo minimo del noleggio delle carte da 0.1 DEC a 1 DEC.
Il 4 febbraio è stata applicata questa modifica.
Mi piace questa modifica per il semplice fatto che chi mette a noleggio una carta deve pagare una fee di 1 DEC.
Mi piace molto anche la Draft Proposal attualmente in fase di votazione che propone di elimanre il noleggio giornaliero permettendo solo il noleggio stagionale.
Mi piace questa proposta perchè quando noleggio una carta voglio generalmente utilizzarla per tutta la stagione ed è particolarmente noioso e fastidioso quando chi ha messo in noleggio la carta la toglie dal mercato prima del tempo a me necessario.
E' esattamente quello che è successo nella stagione in corso con la carta VRUZ di livello massimo che ho noleggiato per 7 giorni ma poi il proprietario ha deciso di interrompere il noleggio prima della fine dei sette giorni.
Il noleggio stagionale come unica opzione è un vantaggio soprattutto per il giocatore e per questo semplice motivo mi piace questa proposta che ho votato in modo favorevole.
Dato che l'argomento di questo mio post è il noleggio delle carte condivido anche la mia attività di noleggio stagionale che va in due direzioni perchè:
- metto in noleggio le mie carte Beta e Untamed perchè il Wild (Bot) Format è noioso per me perchè mi piace giocare solo contro giocatori umani come me
- prendo in noleggio alcune carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format perchè in questa stagione ho iniziato un test e ho raddoppiato la mia attività di gioco nel Modern Format utilizzando due accounts (@libertycrypto27 e @libertygame27) invece di utilizzare solo il mio account principale.
Nelle stagioni 148, 149, 150 e 151 ho fatto un test giocando anche nel Wild Format.
Nel Wild Format ho utilizzato un bot che ha giocato con le mie carte Beta e Untamed.
(Non)Giocare nel Wild Format utilizzando XBOT è stato poco divertente e anche non profittevole perchè ho chiuso le quattro stagioni in perdita anche se ho utilizzato una collezione di carte di mia proprietà del valore superiore a 600$ e ho anche speso in media 400 DEC a stagione per noleggiare carte utili in battaglia.

C'è chi è afferma che giocare nel Wild Format usando un Bot è divertente.
Rispetto tutte le opinioni diverse dalla mia ma non vedo come si possa usare i termini giocare e divertimento quando si usa un BOT e se non si ha una collezione di 1000$ e almeno 100K SPS difficilmente si ottiene un profitto nel Wild Format a causa del costo del Wild Pass...
Le carte che usciranno dal Modern Format perderanno sempre valore fin quando il Wild Format avrà la struttura attuale (bots consentititi + Wild Pass).
L'unica speranza per le vecchie carte di ri-acquistare importanza nel gioco è il Survival Mode, la prossima modalità di gioco che verrà introdotta su Splinterlands che però, aimè, sarà una modalità di gioco bots friendly come il Wild Format.
Con il mio account principale ho una collezione di carte di mia proprietà competitiva per giocare nelle leghe Diamond del Modern Format e non ho necessità di noleggiare altre carte perchè mi diverto a giocare manualmente con la mia collezione di carte.
Non uso le mie carte Beta e Untamed e ieri ho messo 53 carte a noleggio al prezzo più basso sul mercato.
Su un potenziale guadagno di 160 DEC al giorno ho dato in noleggio solo 10 carte su 53 da cui ottengo un guadagno giornaliero di 11.89 DEC al giorno.
Una delle carte che utilizzavo di più quando giocavo manualmente nel Wild Format è Byzantine Kitty di livello 3.
Considero Byzantine Kitty ancora una delle carte evocatore più versatili utilizzabili nel Wild Format ma è difficile da dare in noleggio a meno di darla per pochi DEC.
Pur di non vedere la mia Byzantine Kitty di livello 3 inutilizzata oggi ho utilizzato la sezione Rent->BID di Peakmonsters per vedere qual'era la richiesta migliore per il noleggio per Byzantine Kitty di livello 3.
Infatti la funzionalità Configure rental bid di Peakmonster è utile non solo per effettuare una rental bid ma anche per conoscere le offerte rental bid presenti sul mercato.
Io avevo chiesto 68 DEC al giorno ma c'è una richiesta di noleggio per 32 DEC al giorno.
Ho preferito guadagnare 32 DEC al giorno invece che 0 e ho abbassato il prezzo di noleggio della mia Byzantine Kitty a 32 DEC.
Il cambio di prezzo mi è costato 1 DEC ma adesso riceverò 32 DEC al giorno che sono indubbiamente meglio di 0.
Aver attivato questo noleggio mi permetterà di ridurre il costo di noleggio che sto sostenendo per utilizzare 21 carte con il mio secondo account nel Modern Format.
Infatti per libertygame27 ho un noleggio attivo di 21 carte per cui sto spendendo 64.04 DEC al giorno.
Anche se spendo 64 DEC al giorno questo costo è ampiamente coperto dai guadagni che ottengo dalle vittorie in battaglia.
Infatti con libertygame27 ho iniziato la stagione in lega Bronze III e adesso gioco nella lega Diamond III nella quale ottengo un guadagno per battaglia vinta di circa 3.5 - 3.7 SPS.
Con sole due battaglie vinte supero facilmente il costo giornaliero del noleggio perchè il guadagno della mia ultima vittoria in battaglia è stato di 3.94 SPS il cui valore è uguale a 36.843 DEC che corrisponde al 57.53% del costo giornaliero che spendo per noleggiare le carte.
Il mio test della durata di 4 stagioni nel Wild Format usando XBOT è stato un test poco divertente che ha prodotto una perdita.
Il mio test in corso nel Modern Format è un test divertente per me perchè gioco più battaglie manualmente ed è anche un test positivo dal punto di vista finanziario perchè sto ottenendo anche un profitto.
