I really didn't think I could be enjoying what are probably my last days in my city so much, much less in such pleasant company, because life has had its tricks on me that are difficult to unravel in recent years, and unhappiness has taken its toll on me. However, the resilience that characterizes me serves as a balm and faith drives me to continue, whatever the cost; racket in hand, tackling the problem that is first on the list, and so, moving forward little by little, step by step, I have discovered that one can heal in the midst of so much boredom and unease, it is enough to have love, don't worry doubt.
Realmente no pensé que pudiese estar disfrutando tanto lo que probablemente sean mis últimos días en mi ciudad, menos en compañía tan grata, pues, la vida ha tenido conmigo sus artimañas difíciles de desentrañar los últimos años, y la infelicidad me ha pasado factura. Sin embargo, la resiliencia que me caracteriza sirve de bálsamo y la fe impulsa a seguir, cueste lo que cuete; raqueta en mano, bateando el problema que primero esté en la lista, y así, avanzando poco a poco, paso a paso, he descubierto que puede una sanar en medio de tanto hastío y desazón, basta con tener amor, no te quepa la menor duda.
The afternoon began without plans. I rode my bike around the city doing some pending tasks, buying food and finally ended up sitting with my husband in an outdoor cafe, where the summer air suddenly invaded me in a magical way and we had a pleasant time there. It was very hot, we don't like beer, of any kind, however, that afternoon we had a few mugs to cool off.
La tarde comenzó sin planes. Anduve en la bici por la ciudad haciendo algunas tareas pendientes, comprando comida y finalmente terminé sentada con mi marido en una cafetería al aire libre, donde el aire de verano de pronto me invadió de forma mágica y allí pasamos un rato agradable. Hacía muchísimo calor, no nos gusta la cerveza, de ningún tipo, sin embargo, esa tarde nos tomamos unas jarras para refrescar.
Then we went to pick up the child from school and decided to spend the afternoon together as a family. After snacking we went to the city's Bay. It is a beautiful place, which is more enjoyable when there are not so many people, as we were lucky enough to find that afternoon. This way we were able to get excellent photos of the landscape.
Luego fuimos a recoger al niño a la escuela y decidimos pasar la tarde juntos en familia. Después de merendar nos fuimos a la Bahía de la ciudad. Es un lugar hermnoso, que se disfruta más cuando no hay tantas personas, como tuvimos la suerte de encontrárnosla esa tarde. Así pudimos obtener excelentes fotos del paisaje.
Actually, despite the cloudiness and rain, the afternoon was beautiful. The boy was happy, he played with his new tennis ball, rode his bike, learned to steer, ran around the park and we stopped to look at the sea while we made up stories.
Realmente, pese a la nublazón y la lluvia que hubo, la tarde estaba hermosa. El niño fue feliz, jugó con su pelota de tenis nueva, montó en bici, aprendió a dirigir el timón, corrió por todo el parque y nos detuvimos a mirar el mar mientras inventábamos historias.
When the rain started we went to a boat anchored at the dock, which serves as a cafeteria, and from there we saw others entering that circulate through the bay. We took the opportunity to take some other photos that you will surely enjoy because they have a beautiful warmth. A warmth that stays tenderly in my chest.
Cuando la lluvia comenzó nos fuimos a una lancha anclada en el muelle, que hace función de cafetería y desde ahí vimos entrar otras que circulan por la bahía. Aprovechamos para tomar algunas otras fotos que de seguro van a disfrutar porque tienen una calidez bonita. Una calidez que se me aloja con ternura en el pecho.
It was still early when the rain stopped, so we pleased the child by taking him to the swings and other equipment to play with other friends who also came to visit the park. It really was a very nice afternoon. We especially enjoy watching him play, marveling at how big he is now, how quickly time passes, and fantasizing about the changes that are coming to our lives soon. It makes me happy to share with you my experiences of this beautiful time I lived as a family.
Era temprano aún cuando cesó la lluvia, así que complacimos al niño llevándolo hasta los columpios y demás aparatos para jugar junto a otros amiguitos que también llegaron de visita al parque. Realmente fue una tarde muy linda. Disfrutamos sobre todo viéndolo jugar, asombrándonos de lo grande que está ya, de lo rápido que pasa el tiempo y fantaseando con los cambios que se avecinan en nuestras vidas pronto. Me hace feliz compartírles mis experiencias de este hermoso tiempo que viví en familia.
