Let’s check out this Viewpoint a bit better now and look closely at this #otherworldly #landscape. 😊
It is the end of January what means it is still #winter ❄️ in the HIGHLANDS of Scotland. We especially see it by looking at the warm and dark colours of all the vegetation around us. Especially the dark reds ❤️
Walking a bit further away from the edge. We had walked towards here over the grass from where we parked our car in the designated parking. 🅿️
We take in the views and see the “DUNDONNELL RIVER” streaming below us. Like a snake meandering through the landscape.

We walk a bit further along the river and look back, the parking area is on the right now.
We see little waterfalls and faster streams in the small river.
Looking further away again we see the layers of the mountains in the distance. The river disappearing between them 🥰 What a view!
We look a bit closer into the distance. The red off the vegetation is beautiful. A whole #ecosystem on their own.
We walked a bit further so we can look better at the bigger waterfall coming down over the rocks 🪨
The scenery looks so otherworldly 😳 I love this area and visited many times.
A look at the waterfall further along. We walk carefully as there is no proper path.
If you look closely to the right of the photo and the road. You can see the parking 🅿️ area next to the road. Our car 🚗 is parked there. Do you see it?
Now you can see the size of the surroundings and how large the waterfall actually is. The car is really really small. So the waterfall is much larger than you thought. Was it smaller at first, the waterfall? 🤓
I change from landscape to portrait position. It changes our view completely. 😎 So beautiful 🤩
A shame I didn’t record a video from the waterfall… luckily I did take plenty of photos to show you today 😁
I walked back to the other side again and take a few photos with my iPhone. I just can’t get enough of this view 🤩 how could one… hahaha
The colours from the winter… make the highlands so so special.

I truly recommend a visit to this viewpoint if you find yourself one day in the area. Believe me, every season makes this spot really special.
