Hello Splinterlands Summoners! The season has already progressed halfway. It has been great so far having already accumulated around 40k Glint. I'm on my way to my target of over 100k Glint every season and purchase reward chests. I have also earned over 200 SPS, 40% of my target season earnings of 500 SPS.
Guild Brawls
Much of my SPS earnings come from Guild Brawls. I earn around 70-90 SPS per Brawl and also around 5k merits which I use to strengthen my deck. Our Brawl is currently ongoing and I'll be sharing one of my battles from it.
Battle 1 - Earthquake and Explosive Weaponry Ruleset

Since this battle reduces health of non-flying units, I picked units that can fly. This battle also gives the Blast ability. My strategy was to put a unit with the Martyr ability between my flying units so that it will buff my fighting units with after it gets eliminated. This is a low mana battle but I don't have great flying units in the Death Splinter with low mana. I do have Usut though. He deals 2 Magic damage, has 4 armor and 10 Health making him an excellent tank. Usut also has the Bloodlust ability which makes him more powerful for each enemy unit he eliminates. In the second position I put a Venari Marksrat for its Martyr ability and in third is another flying unit, the underrated Gargoya Devil.

My Opponent's Team
My opponent picked a summoner that grants Flying ability to all his units. It seems that even if he has a good summoner, his choice of units are not that great. In second position, he has a no attack unit with only 1 health. This will be fodder for Usut since it will be hurt by the splash damage from Blast. Similarly while his Orella Abadon is a good offensive unit, it has low health and will be easily eliminated by the Blast damage. I won this battle rather easily.
Conclusion
Halfway through the season the fun battles continue in Splinterlands. Not only in daily battles but in Guild Brawls as well. Being in a guild doubles my earning opportunities as well as increasing my collection by buying Gladius cases. This is looking like another great season for me in terms of fun and profit.
