Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Battle Challenge! (Super Sneak)

I love the idea that the Weekly Battle Challenge changed instead of featuring a monster to represent a ruleset. It is so good to do something different than usual and I hope they will continually do this in the future. The best way would be to mix these challenges, so every week would be more interesting.

This week we need to show a ruleset, which is the Super Sneak and the way I used it to my (dis)advantage in the Battle I played. 😇

My only problem with this new system is that it is very difficult to do battles with the specific ruleset featured for the week challenge, because it is random what you are going to get and even if you have that ruleset you need to win it somehow, which is not always easy. 😏

The Super Sneak ruleset is one of my favorite, because it is easy to predict what my opponent would bring and what to do against it. The ruleset means that all the monsters on the battlefield will have the Sneak ability, which means that all the Melee attack monsters would attack the last monster from the opposing team. 😊

RulesetDescription
Spreading FuryAll Monsters have the Enrage ability.
Super SneakAll Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability.
Up Close & PersonalOnly Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.

The mana cap was 51, which is a lot to build a nice and strong lineup and all of the Splinters were available to choose from.

One of the ruleset is the Up Close & Personal, which means that only Melee attack monsters will be available throughout the battle, so it is crucial to bring some monsters with the Demoralize ability to reduce the overal damage of the enemy Melee attack monsters.

The Spreading Fury ruleset is quite good as well, because if a monster would take any damage on his Health his stats will be increased by 50% until the end of the battle or until it will be healed to full Health again.

My lineup and the decision behind it!

Summoner
Lux Vega

image.png

Lux Vega is an amazing 5 mana cost summoner, because she gives three different abilities to all of her monsters. She will increase the Speed, Health and would provide +1 Armor to his monsters, but more importantly she will be able to pick any monsters from the chosen Splinter. 💪

Main Tank
Ever-Hungry Skull
image.png

The Ever-Hungry Skull is a very weak card on its own, but in this rulesets he is quite powerful, because there would be no Magic attack monsters in the enemy team, so his low Health doesn't really matter. He has quite a lot of Armor, which is amazing and the Thorns ability, so he will reflect some of the Melee attack back to his attacker. 😊

Off-Tank with Demoralize
Harklaw
image.png

The Harklaw is one of my favorite tank from the Death Splinter, because he has the Shield ability to halves all the incoming damage and the Demoralize ability to reduce the Melee attack of all the enemy monsters by one.

He also has Immunity against any kind of negative stats effects as well. 😁

Second Off-tank with Demoralize
Legionnaire Alvar
image.png

I brought Alvar as my second tank, because he also has the Demoralize ability, which is a must have under these rulesets. He has a lot of Armor and Health as well to sustain as much as damage possible. 😇

diablo_divider_no1_death.png

Third Off-Tank with Demoralize
Disintegrator
image.png

The Disintegrator will be the third monster with the Demoralize ability, which will further reduce the enemy Melee attacks by one, which will make the total debuff of the enemy Melee attacks by three. He also has the Retaliate ability, so if an enemy monster would attack him he will have 50% chance to attack that monster back. 😍

Fourth Off-Tank with Self Heal
Cursed Windeku
image.png

The Cursed Windeku cost only 6 mana, so it is easy to use him, but I picked him because he has the self Heal ability, so every round he will heal 4 attack damage back, which might prolong the enemy team trying to kill him. He also has the Thorns ability, so he will reflect some of the damage back to the enemy monsters as well. 🤗

Decoy Tank
Coeurl Lurker
image.png

The Coerl Lurker will be my real tank in this game, because all of the monsters except their tank and their monster with the Reach ability will target him. He has a lot of Health and Armor, but his main protection is his high Speed and his evade abilities. He needs a bit of luck evading the enemy attacks, so fingers crossed he will manage the enemy attacks. 🤞

My opponent brought Quix the Devious, because he has the ability to bring the Dragon monster who mare the strongest monsters in the game and the mana cap was high, so it was a no brainer to bring them into this battle even thought his ability to reduce the Ranged attacks was pretty useless. 😉

Both teams were pretty solid with amazing monsters and it was very important to bring as many monsters with the Demoralize ability as possible, because only Melee attack monsters were available.

The two team started attacking each others last monster and they were so strong that in the first round none of them died. Sadly though in the second round I have lost my Coerl Lurker, but my team took revenge and killed their Chwala as well. My Windeku stood firm at the back of my lineup and used his Heal ability to sustain a lot of damage.

In the third round not much happened, because both teams were pretty 'Demoralized', so they had very little attacks. The next round was very important, because my team killed their Disintegrator and such they got back one lost Melee attack, which was a huge advantage from now on.

In the fifth round eventually they have lost their main tank and also their Alvar who had the Demoralize ability, so my team got another Melee attack back.

In the sixth round my team got so much Melee attack back that they were be able to easily kill their Carnage Titan as well who had the Shield ability and after that it was very easy to kill their last monster from their team. 😊
