Overview
The new Weekly ruleset Challenge is an amazing twist that I am enjoying so far and I hope there will be twists like that in the future to keep this Challenge's fresh. 😁
This week the ruleset is the Maneuvers, which means that all the units with melee attacks will get the Reach ability.
Tips:
- Armored Strike is a melee attack.
- Sneak and opportunity override reach.
The upcoming Battle ruleset

The mana cap for my next battle was 51, which is quite a lot, so I will be able to use my favorite Splinter, which is the Dragon, because they have a lot of super strong Dragon monsters. Those monsters are mostly legendary creatures and they cost a lot of mana, so the 51 mana cap will still barely cover all the costs.
There will be only one ruleset for my battle, which is the Maneuver, but if I choose the Dragon Splinter I usually pick the Carnage Titan as my off tank thanks to his Double Strike ability paired with his huge damage who naturally has the Reach ability.
The Reach ability is amazing, because it will allow all the melee attack monsters in the second positions to attack as they were in the first position. 😜
My lineup
 | Quix the Devious is part of the Dragon Splinter and such they have amazing monsters. As a Summoner he decreases the ranged attack and health of all the enemy monsters by one, which is quite good for only 4 mana. 😁 |
| The Harklaw is an excellent tank, because he cost only 8 mana and he has the Shield ability, which means that he will halves all the incoming melee and ranged attack damage. He also has the Immunity and Demoralize, which means that he will decrease the melee attack damage of the enemy monsters. 😆 |  |
 | The Carnage Titan is a very special off-tank, because he has the Reach ability, so he will be able to attack from the second position and on top of that he has the Double Strike ability as well, which means that he is able to attack twice in every round. On his level 3 he will receive the Shield ability, which is perfect against the melee and ranged attack monsters like a proper tank. 😋 |
| The Carrion Shade cost only one mana, which is not much and he is quite week compared to my other monsters, but that's all the mana left to use after setting up my expensive Dragon lineup. 😅 |  |
 | The Spirit Hoarder was a very important part of my team, because he cost only 3 mana, which is always nice, but he had the Triage ability, which means that he will heal one of the monster in his backline who lost the most health in every round, which would be my Agor Longtail. 🤩 |
| The Queen of Crows is a very important monster, because he has the Headwinds ability, so she will decrease the ranged attack of all the enemy monsters by one. She also be able to attack from the first postion in case she have to, because she has the Close Range ability as well. Her high health would make sure that she will be able to sustain quite a lot of incoming damage. 😜 |  |
 | Agor Longtail is a super expensive monster costing a whooping 15 mana, but as a Dragon monster he has excellent stats! Huge health and armor paired with the self Heal ability, which is necessary to sustain a lot of incmong damage, because most of the enemy monsters will target him thanks to his Taunt ability. 💪 |
The Battle
My opponent brought the Lux Vega who is one of the best Summoner in the game, because she is very versatile thanks to her Neutraliness, but also gives +1 Speed, Armor and Health to all of her friendly monsters. 🤫
Both of our teams very pretty strong and solid, because of the high mana cap, which resulted the first round quite uneventful and both sides sustained a lot of incoming damage. Luckily in the second round my Carnage Titan managed to kill their Harklaw, which was a huge advantage and opened up their lineup even thought they had an off tank as well.
My Titan took care of their Cursed Windeku as well the same way as he dealt with their Harklaw and all of the enemy monsters (except the monster in the first position) kept attacking my Agor Longtail.
In the fourth round their Queen of Crows also died and they were still figthning with my Agor.
It looks like only my Titan is able to kill my opponent monsters, but I am very happy for that, which resulted that their Dhampir Stalker is also died at the fifth round.
The sixth and seventh round was completely the same thing like before and my Harklaw also mitigated a lot of damage and luckily my team didn't lose any of their monsters. 😇

My strategy worked as I wanted, because channeling my opponent damage into my Agor Longtale was a good idea, because all the damage from my opponent team targeted my monster with his Taunt ability, which gave my team (especially for my Carnage Titan) the extra time they needed to kill the enemy monsters one by one. 😊
