Overview
Today I brought a Brawl battle, where I got rulesets and bans, which is quite rare and makes picking the good lineup very difficult, because the margin to pick something different than my opponent is very slim. 🤞
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)
| Ruleset | Description |

| Wands Out | You can summon only units with magic attacks. |
| Silenced Summoners | Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities. |
| Earthquake | Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round. |
The mana cap for my next battle is 51, which is a very good amount, because I can use any kind of monster whatever is available depending from the current rulesets. 😇
There will be only the Life Splinter as choice, because the rest of the color will be banned and on top of that the Wands Out ruleset will only allow the use of magic attack monsters, which is kind of a difficult one especially using only one kind of Splinter.
The Silenced Summoners will also remove all the abilities from all the Summoners, so it is advised to pick the cheapest and highest level one for this battle.
The Earthquake is another ruleset, which will change the actual strategy to make it more difficult, because in every end of the round all the monsters will take two damage unless they are able to Fly. 💪
My lineup
 | Franz Ruffmane gives +1 armor and able to use a Gladiator monster in a normal battle, but the Silenced Summoners ruleset removes all of this ability from him. 😀 |
| Iziar is an excellent tank, because she has a lot of health, but more importantly she has the Void ability, which is the best in the Wands Out ruleset, because she will be able to halves all the incoming magic attack damage. Usually magic attack monsters attacking the first monster from the enemy lineup, but Iziar has the Taunt ability as well, so she will make sure all the enemy monsters will target herself. 😊 |  |
 | Aves Sturgis has +2 magic attack damage and the Weapons Training ability, but that one is quite useless, because it is now allowed to use monsters without any attack. He also the the Divine Shield ability as well, which is nice, because he will be able to block one incoming attack completely. 🤗 |
| Djinn Renova is one of the best damage dealer and the cheapest, because she was a reward card way before the new era's. She also has the Strengthen ability, which will increase the health of all of her friendly monsters. 😉 |  |
 | Captain Katie is also an excellent damage dealer with her three magic damage, but more importantly she ahs the Snipe ability, so she will attack their backline first and if she manages to kill her target she will increase all of her stats by one. 🤩 |
| I used the Meriput Magician as my main healer for this battle to give some hand for my Iziar to be able to sustain as much as damage possible. The Meriput is a cheap monster and being a healer she has only one magic attack. 😋 |  |
 | I didn't have too much choice to pick my last monster, so I picked the Time Meddler, because he had two magic attack damage and the Evade ability, which doesn't work against the magic attack monsters. 😄 |
The Battle
My opponent brought General Sloan, who is a Life Splinter and in a normal battle he would give +1 ranged attack to all of his monsters. He cost only three mana, which is much cheaper than my Summoner, but luckily the mana cap is quite high, so I do not need to worry about that too much. 😊
Sadly my team is very slow, but luckily my Iziar managed to mitigate a lot of their damage and when my team was next to attack they killed their tank easily. Even though she was Resurrected* back my Time Meddler sent her back to her grave just before the first round finished.
The Earthquake did some serious damage on almost all the monsters on the battlefield and in the second round that was enough for my Iziar to kill their Djinn Renova. I have also lost my tank soon after that and sadly their Captain Katie killed her, so she increased all of her stats by one, because of her Bloodlust ability.
In the same round my team managed to kill another monster from the enemy team and the Earthquake also helped us killing their Time Mage at the end of the second round.
Only two monster left in the enemy team, which was easy to kill and even without the help of my Summoner my team managed to won this battle for me. 💪

My strategy worked as I expected, because without the Void ability my Iziar wouldn't been able to sustain that much damage from the enemy team, so they might kill my monsters quicker than us, because most of them had higher speed. 😇
