Buonasera a tutti e ben ritrovati.
Approfittando di una breve passeggiata pomeridiana, indispensabile per smaltire, almeno un po', i postumi di una nuova piacevole serata in compagnia di buoni amici, che però mi ha ricordato, per l'ennesima volta, che non ho più il fisico per certi ritmi, eccomi ritornare con questo mio nuovo post, dedicato, in questo caso, al mondo di Splinterlands.
Esattamente come venerdì scorso, infatti, visto che i nostri rispettivi figli frequentano gli stessi incontri serali, presso le opere parrocchiali, noi genitori, da qualch tempo, abbiamo preso l'abitudine di fare serata assieme, a volte a casa nostra, a volte a casa degli altri, e unire l'utile al dilettevole, visto nell’amicizia nata nel tempo, per trascorrere del tempo assieme e divertirci.
L'unico problema, casomai, è rappresentato dallo stato di rincoglionimento che, solitamente, mi accompagna il giorno successivo, visto che solitamente ci facciamo un po' prendere la mano, ma d'altronde, quando ci si diverte, e si sta bene con delle persone, è piuttosto facile che vada a finire così.
Divagazione personale a parte, ma ormai credo che sarete abituati al fatto che io tenda a lasciarmi un po' andare anche in questo, raccontandovi, a volte, piccoli episodi di vita quotidiana, eccomi ritornare a quello che vuole essere il tema principale di queste mie poche righe.
Nello specifico vorrei andare a condividere con voi il mio arrivo, dopo essere ripartito da quella Gold, a conclusione della precedente season, alla lega diamond III, cosa che mi ha concesso, quindi, di ricevere, e aprire, una certa quantità di scrigni di vario genere.
Per essere più precisi, come potete vedere dall'immagine qui sopra, si trattava, in questo caso, di dieci ceste Minor, sette di categoria Major, e per concludere, di una sola Ultimate.
Visti, però, i risultati della volta precedente, quando ero approdato alla Diamond II, e mi sono ritrovato di fronte a premi piuttosto scadenti, rispetto a quanto speravo, non ero, in realtà, perticolarmente fiducioso, ma in questa occasione la sorte aveva in serbo un paio di sorprese decisamente più interessanti di quanto potessi mai immaginare.
Quando sono andato ad aprire i bauli di cui sopra, infatti, mi sono ritrovato di fronte a 12 Legendary Potion, 6 Alchemy Potion, 157 Merits, che metterò da parte per qualche confezione di carte dell'edizione Gladius, tre copie di Drybone Hobgoblin, di cui due dorate, una Broken Earth Thug, una Halaran Huntress, una Mar Toren Trader, una Chaos Evoker, ben dieci Ujurak Elder, ma, soprattutto, un paio di sorprese decisamente eccezionali, ovvero una copia di Oliva the Brook, carta epica dell'elemento vita che, come ben sapete, adoro letteralmente, e, per concludere, due copie di Chaos Battle Mage, carta leggendaria delle neutrali.
Come potete vedere, quindi, un risultato, tanto piacevole, quanto inaspettato, che ha reso la mia giornata su Splinterlands decisamente più che soddisfacente, consentendomi di incrementare, notevolmente, la forza del mio mazzo, anche perché, in entrambi i casi, grazie alle ultime arrivate, sono riuscito a maxare i relativi personaggi di cui sopra.
Va da sé che, anche se non sottovaluto certo la leggendaria, a rendermi particolarmente felice della cosa di cui sopra, è stata la possibilità di aumentare la potenza dell'epica, visto che, come ormai ben sapete, è certamente una delle mie preferite in assoluto tra le nuove arrivate dell'edizione Rebellion.
Nonostante i postumi di cui sopra, quindi, devo dire che questo sabato si è rivelato piuttosto simpatico, concedendomi la possibilità di accaparrarmi delle carte, più che interessanti, che non mi sarei mai aspettato di ritrovarmi di fronte, ma ovviamente la sorpresa è più che gradita.
A questo punto, ovviamente, sono più che curioso di sapere, se mi riuscirà, come spero, di salire a livello superiore, che cosa mi riserverà la sorte, negli scrigni che eventualmente andrei a ricevere, anche per comprendere se la volta precedentemente è stata pura fatalità, e le cose mi sono andate male semplicemente per caso, o se, effettivamente, i risultati siano stati più scadenti per via di stats di gioco non adeguati, ad esempio, o, magari, per pochi SPS in staking.
Per il momento, però, non so nemmeno se mi riuscirà di raggiungere quell'obiettivo, e, di conseguenza, credo sia inutile lasciarsi prendere da ulteriori divagazioni, che sono, per il momento, destinate a rimanere solo semplici ipotesi.

Taking advantage of a short afternoon walk, essential to get over, at least a little, the after-effects of a new pleasant evening in the company of good friends, which however reminded me, for the umpteenth time, that I no longer have the physique for certain rhythms, here I am back with this new post of mine, dedicated, in this case, to the world of Splinterlands.
Just like last Friday, in fact, since our respective children attend the same evening meetings, at the parish works, we parents, for some time, have gotten into the habit of spending the evening together, sometimes at our home, sometimes at other people's homes, and combining business with pleasure, seen in the friendship born over time, to spend time together and have fun.
The only problem, if anything, is the state of stupor that usually accompanies me the next day, since we usually get a bit carried away, but then again, when you're having fun, and you feel good with people, it's quite easy for it to end up like this.
Personal digression aside, but by now I think you'll be used to the fact that I tend to let myself go a bit even in this, telling you, at times, small episodes of daily life, here I am returning to what is intended to be the main theme of these few lines of mine.
Specifically, I would like to share with you my arrival, after having restarted from the Gold one, at the end of the previous season, to the diamond III league, which allowed me, therefore, to receive, and open, a certain amount of chests of various kinds.
To be more precise, as you can see from the image above, it was, in this case, ten Minor baskets, seven of the Major category, and finally, only one Ultimate.
However, given the results of the previous time, when I landed at Diamond II, and I found myself faced with rather poor prizes, compared to what I had hoped for, I was not, in reality, particularly confident, but on this occasion fate had in store a couple of surprises that were decidedly more interesting than I could ever have imagined.
When I went to open the chests mentioned above, in fact, I found myself in front of 12 Legendary Potions, 6 Alchemy Potions, 157 Merits, which I will put aside for some packs of cards of the Gladius edition, three copies of Drybone Hobgoblin, two of which are golden, a Broken Earth Thug, a Halaran Huntress, a Mar Toren Trader, a Chaos Evoker, ten Ujurak Elder, but, above all, a couple of decidedly exceptional surprises, namely a copy of Oliva the Brook, an epic card of the life element that, as well you know, I literally love it, and, finally, two copies of Chaos Battle Mage, a legendary card of the neutrals.
As you can see, therefore, a result, as pleasant as it is unexpected, which made my day on Splinterlands decidedly more than satisfying, allowing me to increase, considerably, the strength of my deck, also because, in both cases, thanks to the latest arrivals, I managed to max the relative characters mentioned above.
It goes without saying that, even if I certainly do not underestimate the legendary, what made me particularly happy about the thing mentioned above, was the possibility of increasing the power of the epic, since, as you well know by now, it is certainly one of my absolute favorites among the new arrivals of the Rebellion edition.
Despite the above-mentioned after-effects, therefore, I must say that this Saturday turned out to be quite nice, giving me the opportunity to grab some cards, more than interesting, that I would never have expected to find in front of me, but obviously the surprise is more than welcome.
At this point, obviously, I am more than curious to know, if I will be able, as I hope, to climb to a higher level, what fate will reserve for me, in the chests that I would eventually receive, also to understand if the previous time was pure fate, and things went badly for me simply by chance, or if, in fact, the results were poorer due to inadequate game stats, for example, or, perhaps, due to a few SPS in stake.
For the moment, however, I do not even know if I will be able to reach that goal, and, consequently, I believe it is useless to get caught up in further digressions, which are, for the moment, destined to remain only simple hypotheses.
