Good morning... everyone. Today, I am going to take you to a mall in Brunei known as Petani Mall in the Tutong district of Brunei. Tutong area is around an hour's drive from the main city center of Brunei. My wife is from Brunei so occasionally, we would head there to visit my mom-in-law.
Brunei is quite safe and you can walk around with no worries about pickpockets, robbers, etc.

There is a lot of walking space for everyone to walk around. There are eateries, banks, and department stores around here.
HUA HO department store
Hua Ho is one of the most successful department store branches in Brunei. Every where you go around Brunei, you are going to be at a Hua Ho department store. This is their grocery section on the first floor. Brunei doesn't have any tax so many imported stuff here are cheaper than in Miri.
Lots of snacks to try out. What would be your favorite type of snack here? Sometimes, on occasion, they have lots of good deals where two packets of cheese rings for example is sold at a price of one.
There are also lots of different types of home furniture to buy here.
The clothes section
This is located on the second floor. Not many people while I was there. This area is huge. Brunei has around a population of less than half a million.
The playground
This is where children can come here to play with the playground. Quite clean and it looks quite safe for children to play here.
My favourite place at this mall is definitely the department store where you get to check out lots of food. I love to eat so visiting the food section is at times, the best thing to do .
Lots of milk to choose from.
Usually, I buy milk for coffee.
Lots of counters to pay. There is also an automated counter where you check out the stuff by yourself.
Some chocolates that are made in Malaysia.
But these are collectables for tourist.
