If you’re looking for recommendations to spice up your coffee life, there are two coffee recipes that I’ll be sharing today. It’s pretty refreshing and one is a viral coffee beverage on tiktok that I got to try recently.
The first one is crackle coffee. It’s basically latte being served in a chocolate covered plastic cup. Typically people use chocolate but I was using tiramisu white chocolate to coat my cup. I also don’t have a proper plastic cup to coat my coffee with it. So, I just use my reusable starbucks cup for it.
The process is pretty easy but it might take time because you have to freeze the chocolate. But then, the rest are like how we make lattes. It tastes really amazing because the chocolate really complements the taste of the coffee. You really don’t have to add extra sugar to it because it’s already too sweet.
The second one that I made is this pandan coffee. My mom made her own pandan syrup and that’s why I got the idea to make this coffee. Back in Yogyakarta, I used to order this from a cafe and it was one of my favorite ways to start my day. With my mom making this syrup, I get to have one of my favorite lattes at home.
Unfortunately, the syrup that my mom makes isn’t quite thick, so when it’s mixed with the milk, they become incorporated easily. That doesn’t stop me from making delicious pandan coffee although so far, I haven’t made the hot version of it.
It’s pretty easy to make this drink. Basically all you have to do is put the syrup first then milk and then the coffee on top. Whether espresso or filtered coffee, they go pretty okay with this drink.
