Less is more!
When I first purchased my table, I couldn’t open the top drawer. I tried a lot of things and eventually just let them be and only used my bottom drawer. That’s why, my desk was a little more cluttered than I like because a lot of my things don’t have their house yet. Somehow this weekend when I was watching anime, I tried it once more with a little force and it opened!
So, finally I could have a space to store more of the things that often just lay around on top of the table, limiting a lot of my movements. At the same time, since now I collect post-its and stickers, I decided to get a place for them, a storage to store all of my posts so they don’t get cluttered and the worst call, missing.
I got them from Shopee and it was made of thin acrylic and I was happy with the purchase. Now, my table doesn’t look as cluttered as before and it feels roomy.
As you can see above this is before and after. Typically, I would place my calculator above but with the top drawer being opened, I am storing it there and only taking it out when truly necessary. There’s also my glasses pouch and some other misc that are usually on top of the table, now found its home.
With the table being a lot more roomy, it feels nicer and I have more space to write and also doodle. In the past, I had to place everything down before even trying to do anything with it. So, that’s why I believe less is more! There's now more space for me to do things and it helps with my productivity.
I also got a storage box for my notes that was placed behind my desk. I wanted to transform the table into a foot rest too. So, to make it possible, I have to find ways to store my notebook and eventually found these DIY storage boxes that I could use to store them along with my camera. Now, the table is a great place to rest my feet and I love seeing things from it during the afternoon. It’s pretty lively outside too. So, I am happy that I decided to do that and found a home for them.
Usually I’d watch anime and have my early dinner. This is what I would have these days since I am on a weight loss journey. So far, this kind of food works and I also workout 30-60 5 times a week. Honestly, it’s a lot better to control what we eat because working out can feel like hell some days. Now, I would really rather be more conscious about what I eat than having to gain everything back and went through the same hell I did these past few months.
Anyway, that was it, the Tuesday that was pretty much chill and I got to discover this cool anime that talks about its main character being 30 something but switching to a new job. He faced a lot of challenges and overcame adversity and people’s doubt. He’s such a motivating character that I’ve seen in a while. That’s all, see you around!
