Prebuild is used for previewing, say you write some configurations to manipulate your android manifest file or proguard rules and you want to see if it actually works you can run prebuild it will then review this files you modified and you can check.
If you run prebuild and make the modifications to those files directly, each time you run prebuild again it will overwrite what you just did
It can but thing is each time you run prebuild you’ll overwrite what ever configuration you did before
