What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

"I don't. We were about to ride out of Chicago when the streets got clogged with people. This was what I was trying to avoid in July."

🏍️ Recall that in GHAWG July 2028 David Guardia (along with his co-pilot, the uncanny Manny Rey) wanted to avoid Chicago as they rushed their ride through Illinois because there was civil unrest. Recall also that the civil unrest caught up to them just a short distance from Iowa across the Mississippi River. Those moments led to them ending up at the wrong end of an exploding fuel tanker (which had absolutely nothing to do with the unrest which took place in Illinois). David was simply reminding independent journalist Aníbal Rivera of the circumstances surrounding their meeting in a Le Claire, Iowa, US hospital after he woke up from his 10-day coma a transformed man.

🏍️ Aníbal Rivera had an expectation of David Guardia: that the motorcycle courier turned Prophet of The Lord would deliver prophecy to people in need of it. Not even David himself was expecting to have to deliver a prophecy at this moment. Rivera was foreshadowing something for later that day.

🏍️ Until David Guardia woke up from his 10-day coma, he was just a guy like any other guy; this includes his level of religious belief, which was more cultural than religious. However, even the old David Guardia was a saint compared to Aníbal Rivera, who was known as much for his high-flying night life activities as he was for award-winning journalism. For this zapfic entry, David wasn't saying anything the Rivera didn't already know.

🏍️ David Guardia isn't ruling out the possibility that The Lord may call pon him to deliver prophecy (especially on a day like this one in 2028 Chicago). He's telling Aníbal Rivera to be ready in case his wish comes true and David the Prophet appears on scene.

Before Aníbal Rivera and I could continue our talk, out of the corner of mey eye I spotted one of the black block brigade about to knock out a gang member with a cement milkshake. Time slowed enough for me to reach the 2 people.

🏍️ black block brigade contains a typo which I didn't detect until it was too late for me. The k in block was entered by mistake. The correct term should be black bloc brigade since it refers to the style of dress used by the far-left acivists who ame to Chicago, Illinois, US as interlopers. Also, at this moment I noticed anothertypo which is purely a typo: mey eye rather than my eye.
🏍️ The previous zapfic entries featured dialogue between David Guardia and Aníbal Rivera, so this zapfic entry signals a sequence of zapfic entries filled with action. Interlopers were ready to initiate mayhem, and it had the potential to get very ugly very quickly.

🏍️ At the time I added this entry to the zapic queue, I was thinking about recently-deceased Dikembe Mutombo, an Hall of Fame-caliber player who finished his 18-season career in 2nd place for blocked shots. One of the more popular players in the NBA, he was known for wagging his finger and saying "No, no, no" after blocking shots.

🏍️ David Guardia and the gang leaders Emilio Ibáñez and Luther Jackson are never formally introduced to each other, but this occasion is where they meet each other. Perhaps this is why David was directed to this location once Felix Legion reached the eastern terminus of Route 66 in Chicago.

Story Arc So Far
After interviewing Lieutenant Terry Leo of the Chicago Police Department Auxiliary, independent journalist Aníbal Rivera returns his attention to David Guardia. Once done, David finds himself having to prevent one of the far-left activist interlopers from hurling a cement milkshake at Emilio Ibáñez, thus saving the gang leader's life. All this happens after Felix Legion reaches the eastern terminus of Route 66.
With the Route 66 storyline concluded, Act 7 comes to a close and Interlude 4 begins immediately. Interlude 4 takes place in just 1 day, but it's a day featuring history in the making. Introduced in Interlude 4 are gang leaders Emilio Ibáñez and Luther "Big Lu" Jackson, Lieutenant Terry Leo of the Chicago Police Department Auxiliary, and Mrs. Hernandez,
