Una de las especialidades en cuanto al diseño de tatuajes son los llamados realistas, pues parecen fotografías plasmadas en la piel.
Esta modalidad de tatuajes, que se usa en muchos casos para copiar imágenes impresas, con tal grado de exactitud, que necesita no solo de un buen diseño, sino también de un tatuador con experiencia, que no solo haga el trabajo, sino también sea capaz de mejorar la pieza original, agregando sombras y reflejos, por ejemplo.
Pero más allá de los tatuajes para inmortalizar mascotas, y familiares, muchos optan por tener en el cuerpo, alguna figura que admiren, o por el contrario la consideren un guardian protector. Los buhos y los ángeles suelen ser uno de los dibujos más solicitados para llevarlos como símbolos cuidadores, aunque muchos van un poco más allá.
Las deidades egipcias, además de ser muy vistosas en cuanto a imágenes se refieren, suelen ser la elección de algunos, quienes conociendo o no su significado, deciden tatuarlas en alguna parte del cuerpo.

Vemos como gatos egipcios, momias y hasta el dios Anubis, considerado el transportador del espíritu de los muertos ante el Osiris, son seleccionados para irse en el cuerpo de alguien, y obviamente, ser apreciados (o adorados) por quienes lo vean moverse junto con su lienzo portátil.
No quiero que con esto se piense, que afirmo que la única forma de ver bien representado algún diseño que tenga relación con la historia sea del tipo realista, sin embargo, esta técnica le da un toque expresivo extra, que no se logra haciéndolos de otra manera.
Y aunque parezca obvio, el saber un poco más sobre técnicas, nos puede servir para determinar el tipo de tatuaje y el diseño que más nos defina, antes de pasar a la camilla de trabajo, ahorrándonos tiempo propio y al tatuador, quien podrá agregarle su toque de creatividad con una base que venga ya bien definida.

Como ven, los tatuajes realistas, no dejan los detalles al azar, por lo que suelen ser uno de los que más me llaman la atención, por el trabajo meticuloso que representa tener un buen resultado.

I do not want it to be assumed that I am stating that the only way to have a design related to history well represented is through realistic types of tattoos. However, this technique adds an extra expressive touch that cannot be achieved through other means.
And although it may seem obvious, having some knowledge about techniques can help us determine the type of tattoo and design that best defines us before getting on the tattoo artist's table, saving both our own time and the artist's, who can then add their creative touch to a well-defined foundation.

As you can see, realistic tattoos do not leave details to chance, which is why they tend to catch my attention the most due to the meticulous work required to achieve good results.
