What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are spending an awesomely fresh day with your family and friends and enjoying the winter season. If you are a splinterlands player and play this game seriously on a daily basis, then I guess you are pretty busy playing this game and focusing on your season goals right now. If we look into the ongoing ranked season, the season clock shows only 5 days left for this season to meet the end, so whatever your goals are for this season, either to reach a certain league tier or to secure a place in the champion top leaderboard, I guess you are working hard on that tight now and hope we all reach there before the season end. Looking at my own stat, right now I am playing at Diamond I league tier with a current trophy rating of 3,580 and would need only another 120 trophies to reach my goal. My goal remains the same every season, to take a journey to reach the Champion III league tier but nowadays it thrills me even more because of the newly introduced League tier reward Chests. Anyway, hope we all all reach our goals a little bit faster so that we don't get caught in the season-end bloodbath.
Moving on, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I am going to showcase a very special Rebellion card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about NIGHT REAPER, a one-of-a-kind unique monster that I really like these days. So, if you are interested, let’s jump in right now without any further ado.
NIGHT REAPER
NIGHT REAPER is a monster type card that was introduced in the game for the first time with the launch of the latest Rebellion edition Reward card set. This monster belongs to the Dragon element and its attack type is Magic. It costs a whooping 11 mana to be used in battles, so you may use this monster when playing medium to high mana-limit matches. It is an Epic-type card, so you will need a total of 46 BCXs of card in order to upgrade this monster to its maximum level. Now apart from having a good magic attack power, speed and a defensive combo of armour + health, thus minster also comes with 4 unmatched abilities which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into this car’s league-wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 2, this monster possesses 3 magic attack power at 4 speed with 1 armour and 9 health along with 2 abilities that it gets since its initial level - Flying and Wingbreak. While with the flying ability, it has more chance to evade melee or range attacks from non-flying monsters, on the other hand, with the help of Wingbreak ability, this monster will always target the first enemy flying monster unit regardless of abilities or rulesets and will do +2 damage if the unit has the flying ability. So you can clearly see how powerful and deadly this mobster becomes if it is targeting an enemy flying monster.
SILVER
When this monster gets upgraded to level 3, its stats get increased a little bit with 3 magic attack power at 4 speed with 1 armor and an increased 10 health and gladly, it also gets a new ability called Reflection Shield at this level. With the help of this new ability, this mobster will now take no damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire. So now you can use this magic thrower without any stress of getting reverse damage with Magic Reflect.
GOLD
As you upgrade this monster further to level 5, it possesses an increased 4 magic attack at 4 speed with an increased 2 armour and 10 health. Though it gets more firepower and extra health to defend itself longer, it does not get any new ability at this level.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 6, it receives the same stats as of its previous level - 4 magic attack power at 4 speed with 2 armour and 10 health. But Gladly, it gets another ability at its max level called Last Stand with which, all of its stats will get increased by +50% if it is the only alive monster in your lineup.

BATTLE STAT
This time I got a large 59 mana limit math where 4 elements were available to choose from - Fire, Life, Death and Dragona and there were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Maneuvers (all mobsters sill have the Reach ability), Healed Out (all monsters and summoners lose all abilities that restore health) and Target Practice ( all monsters get the Snipe ability). After looking at all the rules and limitations in this match, I thought to use magic attack monsters in this match and then started building my lineup accordingly.
For this match, first of all, I chose the Dragon legendary summoner Akane with the Death element but however, but I didn't choose a single monster from the Death element and filled up my lineup with only dragon and neutral monsters. At the front defense position, I selected the Grimbardun Smith monster followed by Rage, Runeseer Sevaya, Chaos Dragon, Night Reaper and Uraeus at my end position. Anyway, when both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent had chosen the legendary life summoner Grandmaster Rathe and at his front position, he chose Arkemis the Bear followed by Djinn Renova, Adelade Brightwing, Olivia of the Brook, Iziar and the Pelacor Arbalest the end position.
As the battle began, all my backline monsters started targeting the enemy Iziar while all the enemy monsters started attacking my Rage. When my Night Reaper’s turn came, it targeted the Adelade Brightwing because of its Wingbreak ability and killed it down with just 1 blow. Then at round 2, my Rage killed down the Iziar followed by my Chaos Dragon who killed the Pelacor Arbalest and also damaged the Olivia with its blast ability. The Chaos Dragon again killed another unit the Djinn Renova at round 3 followed by the Rage who took down the Olivia this time. By now, only the Arkemis was alive in the opponent’s lineup and it also soon got killed by my Chaos Dragon. The Night Reaper’s Wingbreak ability really helped me in this match as it killed down the Adelade in the first round before the Iziar or the Iziar would have resurrected again and used its Martyr ability 2 times. So without a doubt, Night Reaper really deserves a place in your collection.
I hope you loved watching the Splinterlands battle with NIGHT REAPER that I shared above and also liked reading my battle post. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
I wish you all good luck with all of your future Splinterlands matches.
