What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are doing well in life and also enjoying an awesome weekend with your loved ones. Now, if you are a Splinterlands player, I hope you are playing the game at its best. For those who play this competitively and on a daily basis, I guess all you are right now working on your Ranked season and busy pushing your trophy rating. If we look at the Season clock, only 5 days left before the ranked season meets its end, so whatever goals you have set for this current season, either to reach a certain tier in Silver, Gold or Diamond league or to claim a spot in the glorious champion league, I hope you are working hard in that and wish you reach there before time. Now taking a look at my own stats, I have successfully reached my goal earlier this time and right now sitting at Champion III league tier with a trophy count of 3,800. With another 5 days left in hand, I would keep playing and see if I can cross another 200 trophies to enter the next tier. Let’s see how it goes.
Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another awesome splinterlands card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today we will be talking about CRYPTIC. So, if you are interested, let’s fake a jump without any further ado.
CRYPTIC
CRYPTIC is a summoner card that was introduced in the game with the launch of Rebellion edition cards and this card comes under the core Rebellion edition card-set. This is a special Dual element card supporting both Water and Death which card you can choose under a single match. It is a legendary card, so you will need a total of 11 BCXs of cards in order to upgrade it to max level. It costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can choose this summoner while Playing medium to high mana limit matches.
Now talking about the handful of buffs or advantages that it possesses - first of all it gives -1 speed and Blind ability (all enemy units will receive -15% chance to hit with physical attacks) to all enemy cards.
Now, apart from these 2 buffs which it applies to a whole set of cards, there are also 2 sets of abilities which this summoner cadd possesses, either of which we can choose in a battle according to our advantage. The first set consists of Enfeeble (-1 to target’s melee power after each successful attack) and Retaliate (50% chance to counterattack successful melee attack hits, even if defeated) which it can apply to any 2 friendly monsters of your choice.
The second set consists of 2 more abilities that it applies to any 2 friendly monsters just like the first set. The abilities are Poison (50% chance to apply poisoned after successful attack. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round) and Expose (80% chance to remove Forcefield, Lookout, Reflection Shield, Shield, Void, Void Armour, Cleanse or Immunity after a successful attack. Expose will always remove Immunity first).
Now, talking about this summoner card’s levels.
- At level 1, this summoner card supports level 3 common cards, level 2 rare cards, level 2 epic cards and level 1 legendary monster cards.
- At level 2, this summoner card supports level 5 common cards, level 4 rare cards, level 3 epic cards and level 2 legendary monster cards.
- At level 3, this summoner card supports level 8 common cards, level 6 rare cards, level 5 epic cards and level 3 legendary cards.
- At level 4, this summoner card supports level 10 common cards, level 8 rare cards, level 6 epic cards and level 4 legendary cards.

BATTLE STATS
This time, I received a large 46 mana limit match where there were only 2 summoner allowed to choose from this time - Water and Death. There were also 3 rulesets applied in his match as follows - Heavy Metal (You can only summon armoured units), Fog of War (Units lose Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity ability) and Earthquake (all non flying units and snared units take 2 physical damage at the beginning of each round, from round 2). Anyway, after looking at all these rules and limits, I started to think for an useful monster Lineup for this condition, and after thinking a little, I found out one and then started building my lineup accordingly.
For this match, first of all I chose the dual legendary summoner Cryptic and then at the first position of my Lineup, I chose the Grimbardun Smith followed by the Pallus, Uraeus, Usut and the Runemancer Kye at the end position of my lineup. Anyway, when both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent has used the neutral element Lux Vega summoner and at his front position, he chose the Broken Earth Thug followed by Pallus, Drybone Raider, Djinn Muirat, Moxian Rebel and Clockwork Aide at his last position.
As the battle began, my Usut killed the first and took down the Broken Earth Thug but then at round 3, My wounded Uraeus died due to Earthquake rule. My Runemancer Kye killed Down the Pallus, followed by the enemy Raider which killed my Smith down. Next at round 4, both the enemy cards Drybone Raider and Moxian Rebel died due to Earthquake rule but all 3 of my monsters were flying, so no damage. Then my Usut killed down the Djinn Muirat followed by my Runemancer Kye who took down the final card, Clockwork Aide at round 5 and ended the match. Here I won another amazing ranked match and and thanks to my dual element summoner and the duo of my 2 magic monsters Kye and Usut, who killed Down the enemy cards one by one while my other monsters were helping with their abilities and physical stats. Anyway, I won another good ranked match while trying To Climb the Trophy ladder and earned myself some More SPS and Glint tokens.
I hope you loved watching the Splinterlands battle with CRYPTIC that I shared above and liked reading my battle post. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

I wish you all good luck with all of your future Splinterlands matches.
