Hello Hivers πŸ’•πŸ’˜,

In agricultural mindset you must be prepared ahead of time and also store your seed intact so that even when the time permit you can easily access it and start to cultivate your Crops individually. I also learned a lot while I was growing up with my late dad and what he told us was to be always ready to face any challenge. Ready to plant, ready to weed, ready to harvest, ready to store produce. When you put all this into mind then you have no cause for an alarm. So in view of that I also want to show some of my seed I have at hand. It is awesome a very good practice when you have a lot of seed in your store which are very active and reliable for planting anytime soon.

In Nigeria we are only privileged to have two type of season and each season are with it on different planting rules and seed. So you need to be aware of that before you jump into any type of planting seed. More also when you plant your seed and you notice that they are some set of plant that grow up uniformly with others but grow outstandingly. This means that you need to keep some of them aside in order to grow them until they reach their maturity stage with seed on them. That is why I do most times. When I observe that I have a very good set of plant that grows well also possess a lot of good features. I keep them aside and grow them for seed extraction. I took some pictures of the seed I have at the moment although these are not all.

BELL PEPPER AND CHILL PEPPER.

  • This is a very dried chill πŸ«‘πŸŒΆοΈπŸ«‘ and bell peppers. I love to have them because anytime I am privilege to have a secured agricultural Farmland I quickly make use of it and plant the seed instantly.

DRIED WHITE EGGPLANT.

  • This is also already dried white eggplant. What I learned so many years ago are now useful for me in my own farm. Keeping seed with always ensure a very good and fast Farm organization. It will make your farming more easier for you when you store a very best seed out of your farm produce. For the next planting season.

HYBRID TOMATO πŸ…πŸ…πŸ’ SEEDS

THE JUTE VEGETABLE SEED.

  • This is one of the smallest and the tiniest seed we have in agricultural mindset. The seed are very small such that even when the drop on the floor you may not see them easily. So when handling this time of seed you must also put them in a container or bowl or wrap them inside a nylon.

This is also one of the hardest seed to plant. I will tell you why soon.

Once in a while you need to expose them to not extremely hot weather. This we also activate the seed in the usually before you plant them. You were placed them under a shed so that air breeze can easily blow on it.

THE OKRO SEED.

  • I also have the okra seed. This across it is also a common seed you can see in agricultural shop. But you need to extremely careful when buying this seed. Bella some agricultural shops that sell expired seed. So when you buy them you plant them you keep open on it germination date but yet they will not. So it is very compulsory you ask a lot of question before you buy the seed. I mean all of them all.

I'm curious to know why jute vegetable seed is hard to plant

Yes. Yes. Yes. For the upcoming farmers who don't ask questions they may fall victim of this. Sometimes ago when I bought the Jute vegetable seed, I didn't ask the farmer who sold it out for me. I got to my farm and as usual I planted it with ease. I waited for two weeks. No result. I went back to lunch my complain. The Farmer told me to boil it before planting. That's the secret behind it.

Wow, I would never think of boiling it ..thank you so much for sharing indeed it's good to ask questions

That is why we get to the market, buy fruits, vegetables but we don't know how it is being cultivated at all.

Yes truth.. indeed learning never ends
