Hello Hivers ππ,
The cultivation of crops is manually organized in such a way that when you start to plant one after the other it is accordingly. This means that the planting of both the first and the second crop will be alternated which will not disturb one another. when you are particularly about mixed cropping system you can see the method that this farmer use in terms of bringing one particular plant up at first. This is what I mean no matter what the situation is when you plant your first crop you leave it for couple of weeks before you start to plant the next alternating crop.
This is why you need to understand agriculture before you jump into it fully. When you start operating as a farmer one way or the other you will be open to so many Farm techniques and knowledge. The main reason why I always bring more exposure to people is that the more you are exposed the more awareness you have on how to go about planting of crops. It is of different stages for different crops so you need to understand each crop one at a time. Play some actually planted two types of crop which we already know and they are the Maize and the cassava. When I visited the farm you can see that the maze already grow up to some certain extent while the cassava was just planted.
This is the already existing mixed crop. Why most farmer engage in this is that they use it to multiply their produce within a short period of time without any regret. When a farmer starts to regret one or two of his actions that means that it may lead to a negative effect on the crop or on the soil.
There is one question that may arise as a result of the planting of this different type of crop on this type of agricultural land. The reason been that in this type of region we have so many scanty trees which may disturb the agricultural farming at the stretch. This means that we need to plant in between trees when you do this you have your agricultural crop growing up gradually day by day.
This is awesome a very close view of both the cassava stem planting and the already growing up maize crop. You need to carefully interchange the crops so that they arrangement will be in order. When you mix the crop wrongly it will also definitely show more overcrowded.
What's some other people do is also to bring in another method of planting which is cultivation of hips and ridges as you can see it here. When you make hips or ridges it will also improve your crop production.
