It's Durian Season again
Finally it's durian season again in Malaysia and this is just the beginning of the season.
They said this is the king of fruits because of it's strong and pungent smell.
Once I wasn't used to the smell and taste when I first tasted durian.
Still remember my dad brought back a packet of Musang King all the way back from Kuala Lumpur.
That was my first time trying it.
It tasted more to the bitter side than sweet and from what I still remember it had some bruises on the durian flesh.Most of them said it was the best one but sadly I didn't really like it because it's was more to bitter taste.🤣
Not until one day,me and my parents were on our way back home and smelled a very strong and nice aromatic durian smell coming through our car and saw a truck selling normal local durians on the road side with a cheap price.We decided to stopped by and buy to try it.
That local durian was fresh and smells so good.
That was the second time I've tried durian but a different breed that's D24.
This was the time I felt in love with durians.🤭
It tasted so creamy and sweet! Finally something sweet and not bitter.Hahaha.
And from then on the rest was history.
I started to carve for durian everytime it's in season from then on but now I've started to learn to eat durian that has a little bitter side.
Of cos not those with too much bitterness.🤣 Taste like medicine to me.Hehehe.
I guessed it takes the right durian to make someone fall in love eating it.
So yesterday's night,I was wondering around a supermarket in a mall here and was looking around for some packed durian then I saw this.
I thought I was seeing things wrong for the price.
Frist time in my life I'm seeing this price for a kg for Musang King.🤣
I was shocked!
But it looks good though!
Just drooling looking at it.🤣Hahaha
I guessed they have targeted tourist to buy this because they are indeed many tourists shopping around this mall.
It's okay.My durian hunt will continue again next month perhaps.Still waiting for durian season to be at it's peak then I will hunt for some.

Some people hates the smell of durian because it smells like fart to them so they never get to try it.
Different people different intake of this strong pungent smell of the fruit but once you fall in love with it, it's unstoppable.😆
