I wish I had not read @nhaji01 entry before writing mine, the truth hit too deep after reading from her. I thought about it and I can't help but say she's right about money influencing our love for indoor and outdoor. Outdoors is more expensive than indoors so when I say I love it indoors, it could also translate as "I don't have money" lol.
Maybe it really doesn't but you'll have to blame the post I read that make me think that. One thing is for sure, until I have more than enough money to explore the outdoors, I've found comfort and peace of mind indoors. If I could stay indoors all day with no plans outside, I'll gladly embrace the opportunity and use my time however.
The recent increase in transport system is telling on people who can't contain themselves in their homes or indoors unlike me, although I still go out once in a while, I'm mostly indoors especially in a new environment. I think I did all the outdoor lifestyle while growing up as dad couldn't keep us inside as much as he wished to.
With time, I grew older to begin to enjoy my own company and somehow found too many things to do indoors than outdoors that won't cost as much. On a regular day, I'm on a very comfy wear on my bed with my phone well connected to network and I'm either working to earn or connecting with friends from far and near or learning.
I've never thought of it in this way before but recently, I feel like I'm always on energy saving mode when I'm indoors. Outdoors is more stressful, more risky and a whole lot of fun but indoors is less stressful, less risky and still a lot of fun for me. When I'm always on my bed working or chatting, I get to conserve energy for activities outside.
I also enjoy my time with family, watching movies and being my own company when situation calls for it indoors. There are the health implications to always being indoors and so I try not to abuse it too much. Whenever I feel like or have the opportunity to, I'm outdoors having fun or doing something different from staying indoors.
My favourite part of being indoors wherever I am, whether with family or alone is having a space whether small or big to myself and mostly at all times. I think it gives me a constant forum to evaluate myself when I'm not busy with my phone or spending time with family. This will help me grow inwardly as much as I can and positively with time.
Another sweet part of staying indoors is that I can do most of these things outdoors, for a change. It's not only exciting but feels different from the usual. I like how I can find peace and comfort on my bed, I miss it when I'm away from it but still feel good enough when I'm outdoors. It's much better and easier to be indoors, so indoors for me.
