Hello everyone, today I am back with Japanese food as usual. If anyone follows my blog, you will see Japanese food quite often because it is my favorite food and I eat it very often. Since I have been to Italy, if I go to a restaurant, I will eat Japanese food more often than Italian food. Especially Thai restaurants, it is almost impossible to find them unless you are in a tourist city. This time, I will take everyone to eat Japanese food in Tortona, Italy. This restaurant has just opened. When we found out that there was a new Japanese restaurant, we wanted to try it. And we chose to go to this place for lunch. This Japanese restaurant is called "Better Sushi".
- Better Sushi is a Japanese restaurant located in a shopping mall in Tortona, at the Oasi Citta Commeciale mall. It is not hard to find. When we arrived, it was quite easy to find parking because it is in the mall. Then we walked in and a staff member greeted us and took us to a table. This restaurant is a newly opened restaurant, quite large and spacious.
- The decoration here looks beautiful and modern. After sitting down, the waiter gave us a menu book and a QR code to scan to order from the phone screen. But if anyone does not want to use their own phone, this place also offers tablets, which is quite good. And another thing, the table can scan to order food with many devices, no limit on the number of mobile phones. Some places don't do this, they will give only one device, or some places are just like a notebook with a pen to record the menu number. This place is quite modern.
- After looking at the menu, the first thing to order is drinks. We ordered the same thing almost every time. Since it was cold, we ordered hot tea, which was served first. While waiting for the food, six dishes will be served, every 6 minutes, I'm not sure, but the food was served continuously.
- After the hot tea was served, there was a 3-5 minute wait because the tea leaves would start working. Otherwise, we would only drink hot water instead. And the menu we ordered today was very diverse. But as I said, many restaurants pay the same price, eat as much as you want. So we can eat many things. Each dish is not a big plate. Some menus will have 2-3 pieces, so we can choose many dishes.
- We ordered dim sum that came with a bamboo tray, steamed hot, there were three types: shrimp, vegetables, and pork. Almost everything was delicious. For fried food, there was tempura shrimp and fried shrimp spring rolls. Served with a slightly sweet and spicy dipping sauce, crispy and very delicious, especially when eaten with the dipping sauce, it goes well together. Almost forgot another thing, fried vegetable spring rolls, another fried food that we ordered. This menu is also delicious, eaten hot, crispy, delicious.
- Seaweed, this menu is often ordered regularly, served in a small cup, there are two types. This menu is not my favorite menu, but it is edible. Try it to get the taste. Grilled food, the regular menu that I order is shrimp skewers, a set of two skewers, one skewer has three shrimps, ordered two sets. Normally I order more than this, but today I want to eat a variety. Because it is a new restaurant, I want to try many things.
- Followed by hot soup, today ordered two types, one person per taste. Mine is kimchi soup, which has a spicy and sour taste from kimchi. For me, it is delicious, but not my favorite because it is too sour. Another thing I like is miso soup, which I often order to eat with food. Sipping the hot soup is easy to swallow.
- When you come to a Japanese restaurant, it is impossible not to order sushi or sashimi because they are the stars of every restaurant. For me, the taste of sushi is similar. Since the salmon is fresh, it is mostly fresh and delicious in almost every restaurant I have ever eaten.
- Today, we ordered a variety of sushi. I can't explain it and don't know the names of almost all of them. I just know that it is sushi. In addition to sushi, there is also sashimi, thin and fresh salmon, served on ice, five pieces, eaten with Kochujang sauce, very delicious.
- The various menus are mainly made from salmon. Some are wrapped in seaweed, with avocado, very delicious. Both delicious and beautifully plated. Some dishes are limited to a certain number of orders, which is understandable. We already know that each restaurant is different. If it is a special menu, you can order no more than one or two people, almost everywhere. However, it is considered delicious. We ate until we were very full. This meal had a variety of foods.
Finish with a Japanese liquor drink called sake, which is a good digestive aid after a meal. We often order it after we are full. The taste is delicious, hot, served in a yellow ceramic that is a symbol of Japan with a set of small glasses. I like it very much.
