Hello, good people from the Splinterlands community, how are you all?
Things have been crazy right now, what about you? Here I am to participate in this week's Social Media Challenge with a few of my battles to showcase. I have chosen multiple battles with a view to showcasing multiple thoughts, experiences, and stories to share with them which might help someone a little bit, that's what I am assuming. Looking forward to going through the other people's writings as well to see what they have that I can grab to improve myself.
Let's go ahead with the battles one by one...
Battle - 1: Magic of The Little Ones
Ruleset: Little League
- Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.
This one was intense. In the beginning, I thought I was gone when my monsters were dying. Actually, it's a little mana game so the monsters were mostly with less health, and so they were dying fast for both. Still, the fight was brutal, dying from this and that side one after another. It was the ending moment when I was relieved that I won, and was full of thrills.
Battle - 2: Less But Not The Less
Ruleset: Equal Opportunity
- All units have Opportunity (targets the enemy unit with the least health).
This one was not about how I won the match but was about the number of cards I had fit in my lineup even though the mana cap was just 12, even with a strategy. Initially, I focused on magic as it's one of my fav strategies to go with. To save some mana, took two no-attack monsters and placed a weapon-training monster in between them. With the remaining mana, started collecting best-fit cards to place, also took two zero mana monsters as I had free slots to fill, and thus I got a massive lineup that contributed to the battle and gave me an easy win.
Battle - 3: Melee Time
Ruleset: Odd Ones Out
- You can only summon units with odd mana costs.
- Summoners are not affected by this rule.
Enough of the little ones, let's go to some big ones but see, the odd ones are available to play, that's the ruleset I am facing now. More or less the half cards are gone. Still, I came up with a strategy to use POSSIBILUS THE WISE that would trigger the trample ability which all of my melee monsters will utilize. The first three were melee to take the taste of trample ability, and for the last three, I thought of going with some magic. Watch the battle, you will see the combo of bloodlust and trample, missed the double strike monster here due to othe dd one rule. Still, it is worth watching as it has some amazing moments as well.
