Timeless Moments

How much life have I walked in that I want to pick an ideal age for me? Right now, I am at the young adulthood stage, oh yeah! This one looks like the most challenging one so far and the most crucial one perhaps, mid-adulthood is going to be the same as well I guess but the stage I am in now is going to shape the rest of them for sure. So which one to pick now? So far, I have passed early childhood, childhood, and teenage, and the one I am in now, let's move ahead.

First of all, I had thought of going with the childhood phase, where we live a carefree life, like nothing, everyone pampers us. To us, there is nothing to worry about in life nor do we understand any of them. At that stage, all we know about is things that entertain us, for example, sports, and the only enemy is the pressure of education and studies, homework!! But again, is this an ideal one to live forever where you understand nothing about life, just stay carefree and innocent? I guess not.

On second thought, I thought of picking mid-adulthood which starts at 30. At this point our life is turned to a specific way, we might have ensured a specific career and social place, our emotions and youth would come to a decent spot, maturity at its peak to stand strong for any decision with both physical and mental strength at their prime state. But again, I haven't yet reached that age nor have I lived that one, so would that be an ideal choice to pick without living that one? I guess not.

I am not enjoying the one I am living right now, so much stress and responsibilities have pointed to be tackled and I am struggling like hell. Education, career, family, and whatnot. It's the starting and that's why it's so hard I guess. I don't know when the good days are coming, but I am sure they are on my way and that's why I am not picking this one as well.

Then what's my ideal age to live on? That would be teenage, I think I have lived the most enjoyable one so far. I wasn't that carefree to go out of the line, I was mature enough to handle the age wisely so that doesn’t affect the latter one. Also, this is the age that had no responsibilities so I could grow the way I wanted and live at its fullest. No, I didn't waste that time doing nothing. Thankfully I had the maturity enough to know the differences between right and wrong, to know the meaning of life that is about to begin in the wild, and was able to have positive impacts on me as well as on the surrounding people for which I am still proud of myself that particular thing is helping me in the survival game pretty effectively.

So yeah, if I could choose an ideal age to be and remain that age forever then it would have surely been the teenage I have left behind, to be specific 18 or 19, the most beautiful and effective one I have had so far and I think I can live with that forever.

You are young, and correct in saying you don't know because you haven't lived a long time. I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed your teenage years. Many people felt wretched at that age--lost, without control over their lives, uncertain about the future.

I think the road ahead for you will be positive because so far you have had good experiences in life. These set a strong foundation for handling whatever comes your way in the future. I hope that is the case 🕊

I hope so too, trying to work hard so that I don't need to stress in the coming days anymore.

Thank you for your well wishes, I do pray the best for you as well.
