Monomad: Badlands Drumheller Alberta

The glacier carved canyons and valleys of the Badlands in Alberta are known for their major dinosaur discoveries over the years. The science of paleontology has really grown, and I have seen many highlights in these areas in my home province. The nearby Royal Tyrell Museum hosts many of these fossils and bones dating back to the 10s and even hundreds of millions of years. The landscapes themselves are very interesting, a view from another point in time, surrounded by prarie, the badlands can be found around the Red Deer River and the town of Drumheller. These images are from the area just outside the museum. The textures of these hills are very interesting; their sandy layers hide many mysteries yet to be found.
