It's been a while since I opened Gladius Cases in Splinterlands and I realized that I have a few merits left over, so I decided to open some to increase my Gladiator card collection in the game.
When I started playing Splinterlands again I was lucky enough to join a guild that participates in Tier 4 Brawls, which means that my merit and SPS gains in Brawls are good, especially since my guild usually finishes in the top 4, but recently I haven't had much time to participate in Brawls and this has slowed down my progress in increasing my Gladiator card collection a bit.
Now that I have more time to dedicate to Splinterlands so participating in Brawls won't be a problem and I'll start spending the merits I have to get some more Gladiator cards since my collection of these cards is currently weak and small.
I have 4,068 merits and each Gladius Case costs 2,000 merits, so I have enough to buy 2 Gladius Cases. It's a small amount, but considering that I have few Gladiator cards, every card counts and is important.
Each Gladius Case gives the player 5 cards, with at least 1 of rare or higher rarity.
The player can also use Blood Stones and Power Stones when opening Gladius Cases.
The Blood Stone increases the player's chances of receiving Legendary cards in Gladius Cases.
The Power Stone increases the player's chances of receiving Gold Foils cards in Gladius Cases.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough merits to buy Blood Stones and Power Stones, so I'll have to open the Gladius Cases without them, but it's not a problem because every card I receive will be important since I have few Gladiator cards at the moment.
I can consider myself lucky because with only 2 Gladius Cases I was able to receive Quora Towershead, it is one of the cards I wanted the most because even at level 1 it is already extremely strong and useful in battles, so having it will give me a good advantage in future Brawls that I participate in.
I was also lucky enough to receive the cards Isgald Vorst and Katrelba Gobson, both are very powerful and will be useful in my Brawls, especially when I evolve them since they will become stronger.
Currently this is my collection of Gladiator cards in Splinterlands, it is still small and weak but with time it will become big and strong.
