Sorry for giving up on one of your dreams to make sure your baby is well-attended and make sure he’s/she’s safe. Above all, your love for your baby is enough to call you a super mom.”**
Parenting is not a simple task, how much more when taking care of a child alone — a single mother. Working to survive, food and milk for the two. After working, a crying baby is waiting for his/her mother. Even though crawling is what only a baby can do. He/She will do his/her best to smell the scent of mother. Seeing this, a mother feels delighted and with an instant — the down some, disappointments and tiredness will soon fade.
Society is sometimes cruel, it discriminates and discourages single mothers. Being a single mother means a disgrace or just a shame but they didn’t know how desperate they were to have a man to be beside them taking care of the child. They ignored the fact instead that they were just unfortunate to love a man who didn’t have the guts to fight everything and face the responsibilities. People didn’t appreciate how deep is their love for their baby by raising it alone.
Even so, —- Mother, fear not, you’re a splendid woman. No matter what people call you, understand you and see you. Your irrevocable love to your child is obvious because you face everything, whether you’re struggling. You’re striving just to make sure a better future awaits for your child.
Stand proud, Mother. Forget the man who left you and focus on your child that for sure will stay beside you forever. You don’t need more if you have your child already. Face the world and its people while looking up high. You’re not a Single Mother but you are a Mother.

Paul was born in Macrohon, Southern Leyte but currently living in Cahayag, San Francisco Southern Leyte. He graduated the course of a BS Mar-E or Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering in 2019. Although writing is his passion so instead of sailing he decided on writing.
