Grand Mosque is one of the main places to visit in Muscat, it's a not to be a missed place while you visit Muscat. I have already shared the pictures of the Mosque in the past. Some time back when I had guest I had taken them to the Mosque and since I have been there many times this time I decided to spend some more time outdoors and get some pictures of the place.
The interiors is magnificently designed but the exteriors also is marvelous. The whole structure is made with pure Italian marble and stones from India. The architecture gives a good reflection of the Middle Eastern art. Every single corner of this place has been carefully designed and structured. You cannot find even one place where you can say that art is missing.

This is the courtyard which falls between the man's and the woman's prayer halls.
On the top of the wall there are some inscriptions which are the whole words from their prayer book.
These windows around have been designed with fine art on it.
Look at the ceiling, there is design on it as well and so perfectly aligned.

The lamps all over the place are standard, as I mentioned everything is very well crafted here.
These arches have a mix of design and holy inscriptions, and you should not miss the flooring also.
