2️⃣ For those who would rather read than write, what are your current favorite book reads for that little "mental escape" or enlightenment? What got you into this book and why?
The first question is a bit difficult for me as I am very poor at writing anything fictional, my mind just does not work on that front. Anyways if I have to write in very short then I can say that I will select my friend and my soul sister here on hive @taliakerch on something adventurous. As such she comes out a very soft person, but I can feel that side of her also where she is brave and daring and willing to take up any challenge of life.
If someday I travel to space then I will take her along with me, as I know she will be the best company for me and she will not be that scared one. We can explore space together, the planets, the stars and the moon and that would be really fun and adventurous. That's it, my mind cannot think beyond this....hahaha...so I will leave it here.
Writing and Reading both are my hobbies, normally mornings are dedicated to writing and evenings to reading. Currently I am reading this book; Living in a Mindful Universe by Dr. Eben Alexander. It kind of shakes up the illusion of our physical reality that we perceive with our physical senses and the power of the infinite source. How there are somethings within us that science will never be able to explain. Science links all the functions of the brain to the physical brain but there are certain aspects which are unexplainable. The author was in coma in a very serious condition where he was declared brain dead and from there when he comes back to life, he remembers many things that he encountered beyond the physical world in those altered states when he was in coma. The Universe holds many mysteries then what we have understood and not everything is about science.
I am taking some time to complete this book, as it is very intense, the language is also a little complicated so I have to read and reread quite a few things to grasp and understand. It's a good read in a long time that I have laid my hands on.
