The @LadiesofHive community contest #207 questions for this week are:
1️⃣ Share your most memorable/recent kitchen story, maybe a meal that went bad, a joint cooking with a partner or friend, a kitchen mishap. Happy or sad kitchen story, let's have it.

2️⃣ Where is your favorite corner or area in your home/surrounding and why do you prefer it there?
I have never been much of a kitchen person, to be honest I do not enjoy the day to day cooking part. I feel it takes away a lot of my energy and then I feel drained out, so clearly it's not an activity meant for me. As much as I do not like cooking, I enjoy cleaning, I feel energetic with the cleaning activity. Between me and hubby, he takes over the cooking and I stay on the cleaning :-). But there are times when I do indulge in cooking and for that reason I always have some memory of it. Most of the time I do end up making some special dishes because once in a while when I do it, I am extra careful and do a lot of preparation.
I am good at making some dishes like Pasta, Chicken Tandoori, some kebabs and curries. This one event I remember very clearly when I had guests coming over for dinner at home. I had decided to make Shami Kebab. They are mutton minced patty with spices and gram dal in it. It's a very lengthy process to make it and needs precision with the consistency of the Kebabs, because they are extra soft and while frying needs care. It took me like 3 hours to make it, the process is lengthy and even I was going slow making it a point to be perfect. They turned out very well and all my guests relished it. From that day onwards my friends when they are planning to come over home, they ask me to prepare the kebabs. Most of the time I have to refuse because it's such a time consuming preparation.
I feel very happy that me not being such a great cook, yet few dishes I can make very excellent which everyone enjoys, same goes with cheese pasta and green Thai curry. Some times I feel that I am underestimating myself if I put in a little effort in learning I will be a good cook, but then again the thought of everyday cooking demotivates me...haha. Personally any activity I do not like to do on daily basis, that's my personality. When something becomes regular for me, I feel disinterested. Well this does not apply for physical fitness, there if I miss it one day then I feel restless :-)
The favorite corner of my home is my meditation space. This is where I spend most of my time and it still never feels enough. I am in love with this corner of my home. My happy, sad, dull all moments I share my energy here in this space. When I feel lost, or clueless about any matter then I sit in this space and some magic happens and I feel better. It's a place I have build up over the years with lots of prayers and rituals on a daily basis and it's a place with high vibration. When anyone enters this space, they too feel something different and the feeling is good. Everyone tells me that they feel very high energy here.
That's my favorite corner.
I keep doing lot of things here on regular basis.
This space is filled with Gratitude, Love, Joy and Abundance. When I leave this home I am going to terribly miss this space but I am sure I will create a similar space in my other home as well, only thing it will take some time to build up the same level of energy, as it's not a one day job, it gradually happens.
