For the last 2 weeks I have been missing the @LadiesofHive Contest, but here I am back again for this one - Contest # 214. The questions this week are:
1️⃣ What’s your dream car? And why?
~ 𝐀𝐍𝐃 / 𝐎𝐑 ~
2️⃣ What songs have you completely memorized?
I will answer question no 2 first as that's what is of my interest. Everyone enjoys music and so do I and the list of songs is very long. I am Indian so definitely bollywood music is my favorite and I can sing many songs, mostly the old ones. Honestly I can barely remember the music of the new gen songs.
As I said there are many songs that are on tip of my tongue but my most favorite one that I can sing through is a song from an old movie called Yaarana and the name of the song is "Chukar mere mann ko, kiya tune kya ishara." It's a romantic song and since childhood it has been my favorite and now as well. Also I can sing many songs of a late singer Kishor Kumar, his songs were melodious and very meaningful, it always feels very soothing listening to him and you want to listen again and again because of which it gets registered. From the new age singer Arijit Singh songs are very good and some of them I can sing along like Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga and Ve Maahi.
Apart from Bollywood, in English songs my favorite singers are Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias, Freddie Mercury, Lionel Richie and the list can go on and on but these are the top ones. Again these are the oldies. My Heart will go on, I am Alive, That's the way it is, Hero, Escape, We will rock you, I want to break free, Say you say me, we are the world, Hello. The list is very long. I am sure it goes the same for everyone, some songs are easy to remember. As a teenager I would remember songs very quickly and sing along and my teacher would say, why don't you remember your lesson at the same speed....haha.
Coming to the first question. I have never had much of fascination for Cars, so there has never been any dream car as such which I would want to buy. Rather when it comes to selecting a car I would look at a budget and user friendly car. Something in mid range, for me the price is more important then the brand or model. I would not go for something very small and cheap and at the same time not something fancy and expensive also. For me there is no status symbol tagged to a car.
To be honest, here in Muscat we do have a car, because it is a requirement, but back home in Mumbai we do not own a car yet. I use a normal cab and that's kind of good with me. Probably when we shift back permanently me and hubby will get one car that would suit our family needs.
