My Daily Life challenges these days

in #lifelast month

Since the past 2 months my whole life routine has completely changed. I have short time here in Mumbai and I am trying to finish all the work of our new home. While the home is complete, we have also done the house warming and we have been having guests coming over the weekend but yet there are some miniscule jobs to do. Also with the heavy monsoon season part setting in the new home is also going through the stress test. Every day there are new challenges.

Today morning we noticed some leakages from the 2 of the fixed glass windows. The problem is that it's raining though-out the day so the contractor is not even able to fix it up. I am getting paranoid with these small leakages here and there. The major concern has been with my Yoga room which is on the terrace. There is water continuously seeping into that room and we were not able to identify from where it's seeping. It's coming from the ground through the tiles, today morning the contractor made a small hole for the accumulated water to drain out and he anticipated that it will, though I had my doubts and exactly that happened, the accumulated water did drain out but the leakage has not stopped. Now we have to do the tile work of that room all over again, else slowly gradually it can damage the walls below.

Over the weekend I had some friends come over with their children and as much as I love having them, this time I found it challenging to manage all of them. They were 17 of them in all and some of these children were notorious, I had to be after them all the time. One of them even brought down a curtain of mine which was newly placed and I was so paranoid after that. They were anxious about experimenting everything in the home and with that I was on my nerves all the time. Since everyone was new to the home it was obvious that they would keep asking me for everything and I was trying to reach out to everyone with my 2 hands. Having so many guests at home for an overnight is a challenging task. Finally everyone left happy last evening and me with my helper got on to cleaning the house.

After the chaotic weekend and all these small turbulences all I wanted was peace and just being by myself with hubby last evening I felt so good and relaxed. As I grow older I am getting intolerant with too much noise around me. Coming weekend again I have some guests coming over but none of them have children and this is the older lot so they are peaceful ones then the ones I had this last weekend.

It's a new home so all these challenges are there, as things settle down so will I with it. One thing I can say is that with all of this I still enjoy being here because the views around are so refreshing.

Today morning I took these pictures from my terrace

I have a week here in India, next week I fly back to Muscat, when I return back to Muscat next Monday, I will feel so very different. I have been totally out of my regular schedule and getting back to it after 2.5 months is surely going to make me feel very different.

I can understand your need for peace and quiet. And even though I'm still quite young, peace is something I constantly crave for. I hope you guys after all the festivities can finally be alone to enjoy your beautiful house with its even more amazing view.🌺

I hope the contractor will fix the problem as soon as possible Ma'am @nainaztengra
You really have an amazing surroundings Ma'am ♥️

I am also waiting for him to come and fix things :-(

Noticing the leaks early can prevent the greater damage ma'am.😊

That's right, but getting it in the first place annoys me

Yes ma'am. Knowing that it is not that long the house was built, but you are a great person ma'am that you focus on the solution rather than complain😊

True, the sooner the better

😊😊 You are the best example ma'am.😊

No doubt dearest, dealing with house issues can be so frustrating, especially with the constant rain. Your determination to fix everything is pretty admirable. Wishing you all the best dear

We have been having challenges all day long today one after another. It's been a rough day and now I am almost turning a blind eye :-(

So so sorry about that dearest, please when you get the time, have some rest alright !PIZZA !WINE
