The pleasure of growing my own food

in #garden9 days ago

I am so happy to share this with you all, it's like finally my dream is coming true. How much I wished to have all of this happening in my life and I kept manifesting for it and finally I get to see the results. This is just the beginnings; I have planned much more for my garden. It's going to be the most beautiful place of my home. It's a matter of time, right now doing everything remotely is a challenge. A few more months and I plan to settle back to India permanently and after that my full focus is going to be on my garden.

Excuse me for the pictures because they are all taken by my gardener and sent to me. It is difficult to explain him how to take pictures, after giving him all the instructions also he will do it his way and then feel very happy thinking he has done it my way.....haha. He tells me bhabhiji yeh badhiya hai na, bhabhiji means sister in law as he calls my hubby bhaiya, means brother. So he means, the pictures he has sent are all very good. Anyways that's a secondary thing, more important is the garden and what's growing in it.

There are chilies, bell pepper, Lady fingers and Flat beans that has grown as of now.

This is just the first season and the first time of me growing these foods in my garden, gradually I will expand these plants after seeing what is growing well in this particular soil and what's not. I have planted lot of trees as mentioned in one of my previous blog, which are all mix of fruits and vegetables. Now I need to see which ones are doing well and which ones are not supporting based on that I will expand.

These are the plants of these veggies.

Did you leave India to earn better income and now are planning to return or is your origin somewhere else?

Yes, we shifted for a few years for better prospects and now its time to come home back to India

Congratulations on your harvest. I plan to start planting too. Pne day hehe

Thank you and wish you all the very best with your gardening plans

I also love to plant my own vegetables in my home but I only planted flowers since last year.... You planted many foods which are far better than food from market 😉

I am putting it up slowly gradually, new to all of this hence going slow, I have a lot of space to grow more

Yes of course gardening needs a lot of time and it's a slow process but as we all know slow and steady wins the race 💪😜
