Harvesting Hope: My Experience with Sowing Peas

in #hive-14063512 days ago

Hello Hive Family. I hope you all are healthy and happy.

Friends, today's blog will be on sowing peas.

Although the time for sowing peas is between October to November. Due to being busy with other works in the apple orchards, I am a little late for sowing peas.

As I told you in my previous blog, I had prepared the field for sowing peas. Before sowing, I add cow dung manure to the field.

I buy one kilogram of pea seeds from the market which costs Rs.540.

With the help of a hoe, I make drains and start sowing seeds at a distance of five inches. Due to terraced fields in the mountains, very little work is done with machines.

It took me six days to sow one kilogram of peas.

Sowing peas also increases the fertility of the fields. It is said that the bacteria found in the roots of peas maintain the fertility of the soil for the next crop.
