Life in My Orchard: A Seasonal Journey

Hello Hive family. How are you all?
I hope you all are healthy and happy.

So friends, today I will tell you everything about the fruits grown in my orchards and the harvesting of plums.

There is a small orchard in front of my house. In which I have planted some trees of cherry, apricot, apple and plum. Because I am a gardener. I have been doing gardening for five years. There is no Sunday or Monday here. Every day there is work in the orchards. If you want a good harvest, then you have to spend more time in the orchards. For me, the orchard is a place where the trees talk to me and I talk to the trees. It is a different kind of peace. Which I enjoy completely.

The first season of the year in our place is of cherry which comes in the month of June. We mostly sell them in the market. I have also created a blog on cherry season. Whose link I am sharing below.

After cherry, the second season of the year comes of apricot. We get good prices for it in the market. We sell some apricots in the market and keep some for drying and then eat them during the winter snow. I have also written a blog on apricot harvesting, the link of which I am sharing below.

After apricots comes the season of plum harvesting. I have some small trees of Black Amber variety of plum. I plucked them two days ago. Then I packed them in a box by hand and took them to the fruit market the next day to sell them. I am sharing some pictures of which with all of you.

There is still time for apple harvesting but there are some early varieties of apples in my garden. Which get ready quickly. I will pluck those apples in a few days.

This is a Tydeman variety of apple. It will be harvested after two days.

By the way, most of the apples in our gardens are of Royal Delicious variety which are harvested in the month of September.
