How are you, my friends? Are you well? I have been following the news in Thailand. There are many areas that are flooded. I feel sorry for my fellow Thais. I live abroad and have only helped by donating money. Even though it is not a lot, I am happy to help my fellow Thais and I also follow the news regularly from social media. In Malaysia, it is also raining, but not so much that there is flooding. Normally, this is the rainy season in Malaysia. I hope that all my friends are happy and safe every day.
Today after the rain stopped in the evening, the atmosphere was quite good. Some parts of the front of the house were still flooded. The children wanted to play in the front yard. I took them out to play in front of the house. The children had a lot of fun. But the flower pots were still flooded. They enjoyed playing in the water, so I let them enjoy this little fun.
In the pots in front of my house, there are also small basil plants that are growing after the big basil plants were cut down by my mother-in-law. Haha. She always gives me a reason that the plants are too old and the leaves are not beautiful. Now, my basil plants are just small basil plants. Then, there are also betel leaves and holy basil leaves that are growing. The children were having fun so they went to get the pots and put some soil to make them moist. Then, they skillfully pulled out the small basil plants and planted them in the pots. My youngest and oldest daughters each held a pot with a smile on their faces and told me that they would help me grow basil so that I could cook stir-fried pork with basil for them to eat in the future. Haha, they are so cute, my children.
When the kids played until it was time to get ready to take a bath to eat dinner, we cleaned up the things we were playing with in front of the house and put them away neatly. After that, we put the basil plant in a corner and then we went into the house. And this is a small activity of the kids and me, which is a small happiness that we can find around us without having to go looking for it from anywhere.
