One thing I’m grateful for is having been able to experience the military life a bit. With my experience from being in a military camp for a while, I have come to understand a lot about the military and how things work there. I really don’t know what drew me to see this show but it was just like what I had imagined
Leaving their families and lives behind, members of US navy’s seal team six find themselves in Afghanistan tracking down a terrorist by the name Muttaqi. On this particular mission in Afghanistan, something odd happens with one of them and the team either has to keep it to themselves or report to their superiors back in the US. Will they have their team mates back or will they sell him out?
Fast forward to two years later, this team member gets kidnapped in Nigeria by the same terrorists from Afghanistan to make him pay for what he did even though he had resigned from the navy. Would his team members go out and put their lives on the line to save him or they would just go in with their lives as usual? You’d had to watch to find out how things ended.
Personally, I’d rate this show a 10/10 because everything was on point. The plot was one hell of a rollercoaster and you couldn’t even guess what was to happen next. I was kept on my toes every second of the way.
This show thought me that family isn’t always about blood. In the military, they live like family and once one person is in trouble, everyone puts their life on the line to make sure the other is okay. That’s how deep the brotherhood goes out there. If there’s one reason I would love to join the military or navy, it would be because of how they bond.
Also, I one thing I learnt from this movie is discipline and resilience. There was not a point in the show where I saw any of the team members go out of line. They always had a way of reeling each other in when one was going wayward. It was more like everyone had the others back and that made sure to maintain the discipline in the team. With this, there was no way anyone was going to be thinking about giving up. Cos you can’t be the only one losing faith when others are putting in their best to work things out.
This show is one that spoke a million words to my soul and I would totally recommend it to everyone. Do enjoy the rest of your day.
