New reward set.
With this latest season we saw a whole new batch of reward cards. Unfortunately they are all now soul bound and cost a fortune to unbind them which takes away from the game as a whole. It's not as much fun to collect them anymore as they are going to be permanently bound to my account which defeats the whole idea of web3 gaming.
I will have to buy a few cards to max out the chaos reward set and since it's just a few legendary ones i don't mind too much. To be competitive you need them maxed out so it needs to be done. I picked up a few off the market today bringing me up to 74% complete for legendaries and all others levels are already complete.
That just leaves me with these few to pick up and finish what i started.
Nothing too crazy.
Looking towards the next set.
My biggest mistake from the last set was leaving it too late to start collecting glint. I rented out sps and then when the deadline approached i was under pressure to get the last few cards.
The common and rare cards were easy enough to complete but the legendary ones take a lot of glint to collect so i can't leave it too long this time around.
The other issue was that i left them until the very end when i should have been buying a couple every season. When i had maxed out my lower cards i kept pulling more in the reward chests and had to burn them for glint at a loss. Instead if i had tried to fill out the whole collection at the same time i wouldn't have had to burn as much glint and could have gotten a few more cards without having to buy them.
Lessons learnt.
I don't have the stats from rebellion rewards yet but i have been making a much stronger start than the last time around.
I legendary already and a good mix of everything else.
Now there is still a long way to go from here but that's the fun of the game.
