Sometimes, things don't happen the way humans perceive it to be. Humans are quick to judge and condemn each other even more than the creator himself. What am I even saying? Does God even condemn us regardless of our actions? When God wants to show us mercy, He doesn't look at our shortcomings, even when in the eyes of humans, we have done something terrible and they begin to judge us. God is different; he is kind and merciful. He shows mercy to whoever he wants to show mercy to, regardless of what we have done.
The saying that destinies can be delayed but cannot be destroyed is actually true, and from the story I will share with you shortly, it's a proof that even situations don't change people's destinies most times.
So there's this young girl of 19 years who lives with her aunt, my friend here in Lagos State. She was writing the WAEC and NECO examinations when her aunt suddenly discovered that she was pregnant. It was a devastating discovery, and upon inquiry to find out who got the young girl pregnant, it happened to be one miserable guy loitering about in the estate doing nothing. It's sad that he was able to deceive the young girl at that stage of her academic life.
My friend, her aunt called the girl's parents to explain the situation to them and to inform them she has to send the girl home. Later on, the girl was sent back to the village with the pregnancy. This thing was happening in September last year… Meanwhile, the aunt didn't know that the pregnancy had gone far. So the girl was in the village when her brother, who resides in Lagos State, here, bought a small phone for her and gave it to a friend of his visiting the village for burial, the brother of this girl instructed his friend to help him give the phone to his poor sister in the village.
Surprisingly, this guy went to give the phone to the pregnant girl and liked her!!. It was as if he got seriously captivated with the girl even with pregnancy. He asked the girl questions about her pregnancy, and she explained what happened. The guy immediately declared interest in marrying her. Like a joke, he made everything formal, involved the two families, and insisted that it's either he marry the girl or no marriage in his life. This guy is doing good work in Lagos; he is good-looking. It is not as if he is disabled or anything that made him take such decisions of marrying a pregnant girl. It was just DESTINY.
To be honest, this was one of the strangest stories I have heard in a decade. The marriage took place immediately, and she carried the pregnant girl back to Lagos. Three weeks ago, we got information that the girl has given birth to a bouncing baby boy well taken care of; the apartment they live in is very neat. I don't know how lucky I can say this girl is, but destiny spoke for her.
In summary, I wouldn't clap for the girl for getting pregnant outside marriage; that didn't portray good morals, and I wouldn't judge her also because I am not God. The point I am trying to make is that no matter the situations people find themselves in, God's mercy is still available for us, and he is capable of helping us fulfill destiny in life.
