It has been an interesting week of top-flight football in the English Premier League. Fans and spectators across the globe were treated to amazing performances from their favourite teams. It was a week full of surprises and numerous goals, which equally made it a great week for Fantasy Football enthusiasts.
In Gameweek 2, most of the top FPL assets performed well, and there were pleasant surprises from some players like the Blues' skipper, Madueke. The Chelsea star bagged a total of 20 points by scoring a hat-trick, making him the Player of the Week.
Another player who scored a hat-trick was Erling Haaland from Man City. The most expensive FPL asset (currently valued at £15.1 million) did justice to his price, ending the week with a massive 17 points, alongside Cole Palmer.
I managed to earn 80 points at the end of the Gameweek, which was a pleasant surprise, especially considering I had a couple of injury scares and a seemingly weak bench. I was so tempted to use my wildcard chip, but after much consideration, I decided to stick with my team. Currently, I am ranked 2,042,363rd in the world.
GAMEWEEK 3 PREPARATION
For the coming week, I have made just one major change: bringing in Muniz for Solanke, who is out with an injury. The Fulham striker seems to be the best option based on their upcoming fixture against Ipswich. Also, I will be giving the captaincy to Muniz.
If any of my major FPL assets get injured during the week, I might be forced to use my wildcard chip. There are also a few players I want to sell due to their poor performances in the last two games to strengthen my squad. I want a team I can confidently run with for 5 weeks without any major changes.
That will be all for my FPL update. Cheers!
