English version
Friends, from my dear @hiveargentina Today I was requesting medical appointments at the Hospital that I have near my home. There is nothing better than having the emergency near your residence. Well, I would like to tell you that this hospital is called Hospital Interzonal General de Agudos Presidente Perón. It is also known as Hospital Presidente Perón. Some people also call it "El Policlínico Presidente Perón", since that was its former name, and older people also recognize it as "Hospital Finochietto".
This last name was given because Surgeon Enrique Finochieto and his brother made a foundation and inaugurated it in 1951. In the month of November 1951, María Eva de Perón was admitted and was hospitalized for several days, who, by the way, had to exercise her right to vote, for the first time, from her hospital bed. Eva died the following year.
In 2009, a fresco was painted covering the upper part of the main entrance leading to the consulting rooms and corridors.
The image I selected for this post is part of a single artistic idea, but I wanted to fragment it as a sample of how beautiful you are going to get when you enter that first space, and when you look up over the bust of Perón, you will find this beautiful work of the painter Cardenas Canedo, P. naturalized Argentinean. In the next post, I will continue showing what is this giant gallery that is part of a general hospital, which is located in Avellaneda Sarandí, Buenos Aires.
This beautiful bust, in marble of course, is that of Juan Domingo Perón. Made by the artist, Leonne Tommasi in 1951.
As a curious fact, I stopped at the entrance and when I read, the big letters, there is an interesting phrase. ***I found it strange, but then, as I analyzed, really what you can get in a hospital are living bodies and souls of those who did not win the battle against death.
Just as you enter the main entrance of the Hospital, on the right side, there is a bust of Eva Perón. It turns out that the president of that time declared the wards where Mrs. María Eva Duarte de Perón was hospitalized as a national historical site.
It is for this reason that her bust, portrait, etc., is placed in several places in the hospital of the Fundación Eva Perón.
Today, upon entering the corresponding ticket office to change the date of my shift, I discover that nurses have a Patron Saint. He is Artemides Zatti.
They call him the Patron Saint of nurses, I remembered our Doctor Jose Gregorio Hernandez in Venezuela. Also called, *** the Doctor of the Poor***.
This photograph is strategically located, in the large room where people go to request an appointment and patients who are in control, in all specialties.
The following sculpture is located in the right wing of the gardens and parking lot of the Perón Hospital. Inside the facility, in the corridors, walls and ceilings, there are still many works of art. I will show them to you in a new post
The previous sculpture, whose author was Mirta Beatriz Simonelli, (disappeared) was exhibited in memory of the disappeared of the HIGE Presidente Perón. It contains a fragment of a poem by Jorge Carlos Trainini.
Like the other plaques, it is deteriorated, so it is almost impossible to distinguish the writing.
The engraving reads: Nurse Margarita M Bergnano, on Nurse's Day (21-11-1963).
As can be seen in the image, the plate is very deteriorated, making it difficult to read.
The following thought, and with it, I culminate this first compilation of works of art, which today are exhibited in the spaces of the Presidente Perón Hospital. It is one of several that are strategically placed inside the hospital. Thought as a sign of protest by Dr. Ramón Carrillo
I hope you liked this small compilation of works that I discovered inside the "Presidente Perón" Hospital.
In order for you to enjoy all the artistic compendium, which can be found there, I must tell you that it was not possible in a single publication. Therefore, wait for the next post, which is coming with more historical art. Greetings and love.😍❤️
