Привіт! Ви знаєте, хто такий кушнір? Це ремісник, людина, що займається вичинкою хутра. Нині ця професія вже позабута, але колись в сиву давнину величезна армія фахівців займалася цією непростою справою. Ще їх називали гарбари. Монета Кушнір присвячена саме цим фахівцям. Вона виготовлена зі срібла.
Вага срібної монети складає 31.1 г, а діаметр 38.6 мм. 5 тисяч штук були виготовлені Національним банком 16 серпня 2012 року. Для допису “Серія монет “Народні промисли і ремесла”: срібна монета Кушнір, 2012 рік, номінал 10 гривень” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України.
Реверс. По боках монети нанесено стилізований узор. Назва вказана у верхній частині, а сам кушнір зображений в центрі за працею. За його спиною видніється шкіра, натягнута на дерев'яних палицях.
Лицьова сторона. Герб та назва регулятора викарбувана у верхній частині, внизу — рік виготовлення та номінал (10 гривень). Між ними (в центрі) нанесено двох птахів. По обидва боки художники зобразили традиційне українське вбрання.
