Привіт! Одна з моїх улюблених серій монет “Флора і фауна України” й монета Гриф Чорний. Срібний виріб введений в обіг 26 травня. Птах із родини Яструбових гніздиться лише на Південному березі України в Криму. Гриф занесений до Червоної книги.
Вага виробу складає 31.1 г, а розмір — 38.6 мм. Монета з рифленим гуртом випущена тиражем 7 тисяч штук. Для допису “Срібло, монета із серії “Флора і фауна України”: Гриф Чорний, номінал 10 гривень, 2008 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційної сторінки Національного банку України.
Реверс. Центральну частину композицію займає зображення грифа у гнізді разом з маленьким пташеням. У верхній частині викарбувана назва птаха латиницею - AEGYPIUS MONACHUS, а внизу — українською мовою.
Лицьова сторона. Традиційно для цієї серії монет по колу зображено вінок, що утворений з різних видів рослинного та тваринного світу України. Герб викарбувано угорі, нижче — назва фінансового регулятора України. Трішки нижче від центру вказано номінал, ще нижче — рік введення в обіг монети, а у самому низу — лого МД. Монета виготовлена зі срібла 925 проби. Відповідна відмітка зроблена справа від номіналу, а зліва вказана вага — 31.1.

Silver, a coin from the "Flora and Fauna of Ukraine" series: Black vulture, denomination 10 hryvnias, 2008
Greetings! One of my favorite series of coins is "Flora and Fauna of Ukraine" and the Black Vulture coin. The silver product was put into circulation on May 26. A bird from the Yastrub family nests only on the Southern coast of Ukraine in the Crimea. The vulture is listed in the Red Book.
The weight of the product is 31.1 g, and the size is 38.6 mm. A coin with a fluted band was issued in a circulation of 7,000 pieces. Two photos from the official page of the National bank were used for the post "Silver, a coin from the series "Flora and Fauna of Ukraine": Vulture Black, denomination 10 hryvnias, 2008" of Ukraine.
Reverse. The central part of the composition is occupied by the image of a vulture in a nest together with a small bird. In the upper part, the name of the bird is engraved in Latin - AEGYPIUS MONACHUS, and at the bottom - in Ukrainian.
Front side. Traditionally, for this series of coins, a wreath formed from various types of flora and fauna of Ukraine is depicted in a circle. The coat of arms is engraved at the top, below is the name of the financial regulator of Ukraine. A little lower from the center is the denomination, even lower is the year of introduction of the coin into circulation, and at the very bottom is the MD logo. The coin is made of 925 silver. The corresponding mark is made to the right of the denomination, and the weight is indicated to the left - 31.1.
